And he has turned things up lately and is scoring runs regardless of getting hits, putting pressure on the defense. We need a pest with a decent glove, not a defensive wizard that is mediocre with the bat and slow on the base paths (Simmons) and slowing down further.

Man Chuck, I want to agree with you but his decisions on the surface and prior to hindsight looked reasonable. The Dodgers really just showed up a little more than we did, even Kershaw got smacked around so it was one of those games where things happen anyways. Even spooky Michael Mayers got smacked up. I really think Maddon is the best thing to happen to this franchise since the last time Maddon was here. The ship is headed in the right direction and land is ahoy.

Yeah, the one benefit of the early draft is near to ready MLB pitchers, while the Angels were trying to steal every position player, it's finally starting to show up in the field but not nearly as much on the mound. The Dodgers put their best lineup out there with their best pitcher and their best closer, they played to win to help the Astros. We are that lame where the Astros are better entertainment for baseball, yet we have "the best player in baseball" I'm tired of it. Like stand back and look at everything at once, that's what I see.
