Rengifo > ALL 2B next season, just watch. .303 avg .390 OBP 80+ runs scored. Maybe not NEXT season but that's his peak imo. Could get a poor man's version of that ^ next season arguably .280 .360 OBP 70+rs if all goes well that is.

Rengifo > Future Didi Rengifo is like Aybar and Howie Kendrick combined, I feel alone in terms of talent evaluation but he looks like an all-star to me. I did call Walsh's streak, that it wasn't a fluke, well before he even peaked. And I also called Adell's crash and burn.

I think the Angels coming in hot and sneaking into the playoffs to win the WS would be the ONLY thing that would make this COVID 19 season epic and memorable for all baseball fans. It was at .1% chance before tonight's game. Like holy **** could you imagine if it actually happened?

This team needs no new starting position players, in fact we really only need bullpen help and 1 quality SP, that requires not needing to hire Dombrowski. Arte might be able to save money this offseason for once, think about that for a minute. Things actually look bright for next season and I'm excited to see them surprise the league. Maddon seems to be far more effective than he was the first few months, same with Callaway. This core of players is good and very talented, and I think moving anymore position players around will hurt our chances next season. A lot of these guys are just now honed in to Maddon's style of play and having to retrain someone in the field will set us back.

We don't need any position players really, it's all pitching. Just a decent MLB hitting backup infielder is all, Stassi is a stud. Rengifo looks a lot better now.

Why are people all of a sudden convinced that if Arte spends and we trade our farm via Dombrowski that we will win a WS? Every time we think we have a window to win it ends up being non-existent because we were in win-now mode and gutted the team and acquisitions didn't thrive here. Since when has a win-now mentality for the Angels ever worked out? Why gut a system that has improved over the last 3 weeks more than any team in baseball?
