Have a feeling we roll with this rotation.
Not much depth have 5 but after that very thin. Depending if Soriano and Wantz can be stretched out but after that not much.

My sources (for real) say that the Angels aren't in on Montgomery, Martinez, or Pham at this point, for what it's worth.
Any word about u know who?

Giants have done a really nice job in adding to their team.

It's a wait and see year for Angels. What can young pitchers and young position players do. It will be fun watching them play and develop.

Still think it's best to have him in the majors. If he's not the starting 1B, then who from the current roster is? Anyone who moves into that spot (Drury, etc.) just creates a big lack of depth elsewhere. I can't imagine they're going to make Sano the starting 1B. Let Schanuel take it from the start (assuming he's healthy) and worry about it a month from now if he's struggling.
I hope he works out but if not very little depth. Brandon Belt still out there. I'm just thinking he might need more time in minors.

He just needs to get off his feet.

Schanuel one of many halo players not having a good spring. I wonder if it might be better if he starts season in minors. He has been given 1B job but like others have Angels rushed him too soon?

Arte is sitting in his office writing out checks to both Trout and Rendon. Both getting 38 mill a year and cannot stay on the field. One could care less if he is on the field. His GM signs relief pitcher to a 3 year deal he is going to start season on IL. Has a young team really not ready to compete for playoff spot. GM, Trout and fans want him to sign Snell, Martinez among others. Just not going to happen.

Arte told Mike stay on the field and don't K so much

The Angels Spring offense is offensive. Is that a good sign for the regular season?
Baltimore will be halo slump buster.

Hamlin had 11 career HR, not 5. Winning run scored on a hit batter, not a wild pitch.
Here's the box score:

When I think about it the ball hit the batter and got away from catcher that is why I thought it was a WP.

Ok thanks for info now I remember. Hamlin did hit HR to tie game.

Spring training blah blah blah--but I am now officially worried about both Trout and Rendon heading into the season. I sincerely hope they can both find their rhythm over the last several games heading into the regular reason.
This is another reason why Angels should not spend money this year. Wait and see how they do.

They lost 8 in a row after winning the first. Win #2 was on a Friday night, and they won in the bottom of the 12th, not the 10th.
I knew it was win number 2 but I was at that game. I remember Ken Hamlin hitting HR to tie game and winning run was on a wild pitch. Pedro Ramos I think started game for Twins. I can still see ball going over brick wall in LF on Hamlin HR. I think he hit only 5 in his career.
