    One of true icons in pro wrestling history, passed away Sunday at age 73. In tribute to him: "Humanoids" "Ham n Eggers" "It's not fair to Flair!" He is now with his best friend for many years, Gorilla Monsoon.

    This is where we begin to wonder if the owners of half the MLB teams can stay in much longer. When players start pulling in $40 million/season, that starts to fill in to the luxury tax threshold pretty quickly. Seems like just the other day that max salaries were several million/year. Concur though that if anyone deserves it, it's Trout based on his first 6 MLB seasons.

    Starting tomorrow, it's foot to the metal starting 13 games in 13 days. I hope the starters can pitch enough innings, and guys not named Petit and Parker also step up in the pen.

    Skanks only have 3 road games remaining. They are very tough at home. If anything, the Skanks have a shot at catching the Red Sux for the AL East crown. We are all Skanks fans for the next 3 days. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

    The starting pitching has been much better this month. For most of the season though, it's been a struggle for them. Imagine how bad it would be if Bridwell had not been brought in here. The pen, Trout, Simmons, and Machete kept this team in the race for most of the season.

    At this point, to win the 2nd WC without a one game playoff, the Halos likely have to go 10-3 as I can't see the Twins going any worse than 7-6 since they play the toothless Tiggers 7 times in the next 2 weeks. By the way, is Detroit still in MLB?

    Probably need a 10-3 record (2-1 vs Cleve, 2-1 vs Hous, 3-1 vs ChiSox, and 3-0 vs Sea) to win the 2nd WC. That means the Twins going 7-6 (1-2 vs both Skanks and Indians, and 5-2 vs the toothless Tiggers). At least the Twins may possibly twice face the toothless one's pitcher who nearly no-hit the ChiSox yesterday. Yesterday's loss was a big setback! I'm sick and tired of Beltre and Choo!
