  1. I can't make up my mind whether to vacillate or not.
  2. Not a bad national audience showing, one game at a time
  3. Okay Tigers, make believe the Twins are laughing at you and calling you a AA team. And Cleveland, winning every game against the Twins would not suck.
  4. 5-2 (3-1 vs ChiSox and 2-1 vs the slumping Dipotos), over .500 record and would be an 8 games improvement over 2016. Cron hit a HR? Even I don't remember that (well sort of).
  5. Altuve should win it. Right now, Judge, Lindor, and Ramirez can all make a case for runnerup. Trout could too, until these past 36 games happened. At this point, MAYBE 5th place for Trout? Kluber and Sale could possibly make a case for 5th place too. No Red Sux batter has an .800+ OPS, other than Devers, who just became the 3B two months ago. Simmons' offense has fallen off over the past month or so, as well.
  6. Per what Mark mentioned: I do see it more as Trump dividing people through his speeches. That really isn't presidential. A president is supposed to bring a country together, and not divide it.
  7. Another big question is, has Arte learned his lesson after the Wells fiasco? If other key FA's are signing elsewhere, will he resist acquiring a big name just to do so and even better wait a year?
  8. If it's a one year jump, it's a concern. When it's two years, it's more of a possibility of being a long term thing.
  9. There are two thought processes. One is showing true respect for the flag and those sacrificing their lives and health to preserve it. Another is that those who are choosing to make a statement during the anthem are upholding another big symbol of the flag, the freedom to express differing opinions as long as you don't advocate harming others.
  10. Three things stood out. USC's defense is opportunistic. Cal's defense is much improved. Darnold is not as good under pressure as he was a year ago. Still issues adjusting to new receivers?
  11. The rebuild is in progress. I'm okay with that after two Stanley Cups. Got to adapt to the new offense oriented ways of the NHL.
  12. Reporting day arrives! Less than a month until the season starts!
  13. NFC West is wide open. Seattle seems down, and Arizona is okay. Rams loss a week ago looks better, after Washington put on a clinic against the Raiders.
  14. And it was a great show. Every match, except for Neville/Enzo, got big pop. Speaking of which, anyone else think this Enzo cheating storyline is lame? How the heck is he holding the Cruiserweight belt? He's entertaining with the mic, but essentially has not much more in ring talent than another mic genius, Jimmy Hart. Reigns/Cena was an instant classic. Lesnar/Strowman was a solid match, as they did leave it all in the ring. Just wish it could have gone a little longer. Miz actually got a lot more pop than Jordan. Heel turn is definitely in Jordan's future, as the fans are booing him like they did Angle in his early days.
  15. For sure, Altuve, Judge, Lindor, and Ramirez are ahead of him.
  16. 10-2 in the 6th Is toothless Tiggers pitching even AAA worthy? They will likely get the #1 overall pick. Can't see them winning even one game the final week of the season.
  17. Can Trout at least start hitting again? This 2011 Trout improv is sad to watch.
  18. I'd consider moving Shoe to the back end of the pen, if the rotation is fortified. That splitter could be nasty in the late innings. Plus throwing a ton of splitters over 190 innings in a season could leave his elbow more susceptible to damage.
  19. That and the Animal House "blow###" cough in the late 70s.
  20. True on the last two, but KC has gotten solid production from spots 1-6 in their order. KC's pitching has been their downfall, especially Vargas' collapse after the ASB.
  21. The farm is on the way up, but it will take another couple of drafts to get there. In Eppler we trust. Olson is sicker than a disease for the A'th.
  22. Countdown to end of Hackilton contract: EIGHT days! Wonder what Arte will do to celebrate it.
  23. Perfect cleanup hitter for a AAA team. Basically they have 3 MLB caliber hitters, and two of them (Kinsler and Cabrera) are in vast decline.
  24. Just finish at .500 now, no way they are catching the Twins. Twins would need to lose 3 out of the remaining 4 to the toothless AAA Tiggers and be swept by Cleveland, and even then it would take a 6-2 record to only tie them. Bright side is that the Twins won't have the worst ever record for a post-season team (82-79 Mets in 1973 and 83-78 Cards in 2006, although both made it to the WS).
