Great movie but not a good Star Wars movie. That's the best way to describe it. Some cool stuff but just some absolutely terrible stuff in there too. Disney has their finger prints all over this one.

Respectfully disagree. The pitching still needs a lot of help. This team right now is the 2013 Angels. All hitting, no pitching. Granted, this 2018 probable rotation is much better than that team. We still need 1 more starter. I'd argue 2. A Darvish type, plus a 4/5 guy maybe that'll eat innings, and a reliever. I just don't trust our kids to stay healthy and/or actually perform at a high level. I hope I'm wrong obviously but there's a lot of glass on our pitching staff.

Hell yeah! I like this deal. Especially for just 1 season. Kinsler is a huge upgrade even with a bad 2017 season. I can see him getting back close to his usual form in a show me contract year.

This team doesn't need a shutdown line imo. Stopping goals hasn't been our problem. It's scoring.

Honestly, I'm okay with Perry being out. Put Kase on the top line with Rakell and Getzlaf and it'll probably be better imo.

Funny enough I thought he was far and away better than Fowler last night. Fowler usually has great zone exit % but not so great last night. Manson on the other hand seemed very protective of the puck in our zone and managed to clear it out every time. I feel dirty giving Manson a compliment.

Talk about rags to riches if we get Darvish on top of Ohtani. Wow. Ship out Shoe/Trop/Skaggs for a 2B and I think we're set for the offseason. Maybe Cron for a RP too but wow! Loving our offseason so far.

The good news folks is Getzlaf and Kesler both skated today. They're getting closer. Two weeks or so and both are back most likely. Silf will be back in the coming days too. Kase is back. We're almost at full strength. Raks-Getz-Perry Silf-Kes-Cogs Ritchie-Henrique-Kase Shaw-Vermette-Wagner That looks WAAAAY better than that we've been rolling out there. Still not crazy formidable but still good. Personally, I'd like to see Kase up with Getz and Raks and Perry down with Ritchie and Henrique. At least Vermette will be back to 4th line minutes and we'll have actual Centers soon.

Silf is injured now. Upper body. Didn't skate in the 3rd and didn't practice today.

Not a good sign when Devils fans are ready for a parade. They feel like this was a dominate trade win for them. They're all incredibly low on Henrique. Said he's arguably the 7th best FW on their team right now. That just let out a lot of air in our balloons.

Great to see us make a move. Kinda sucks this is all we got for Vats. So much for that high value eh? Henrique is a good add tho. Not a Drouin type add but still a solid addition.
