Chris Kunitz comes to mind. A proven scorer that won't cost too much but you know damn well he's gonna show up and put up some big games in the Playoffs. That's the kind of guy I wanted added to this current team.

Divisions mean nothing especially when NHL rules go out the window come Game 1 of the first round. I don't think the Ducks are too far away tho. Again, if Eaves and Rakell are healthy and Gibby doesn't miss Game 6. We could be talking about our 5 game series loss to Pitt instead! We have TONS of D depth but next to zero FW depth. One guy goes down and we have no one to step in. That's where a lot of us are coming from in our points I think. Not getting the guy we have to rely on but just in case we have a guy like Rakell or Eaves or Perry go down, we can confidently say we have this FW that can step up and get those higher minutes and scoring chances.

The FA pool wasn't too deep and clearly by the signings so far there's no way the Ducks could afford that. BM shot himself in the foot with the Stoner, Bieksa and yeah I'll say it, the Fowler extension. I haven't seen anything about it. Anyone know if there's a NMC attached? As if I have to really ask lolol. Another huge shot in the foot was not trading Vatanan. He was THE trade chip and we did nothing with it. That was the sign to me this was gonna be another slow offseason. Again, lots of time left but I doubt anything significant happens.

Even without SCSA there it was probably the best RAW of 2017 easily, if not the past few years. Every single segment was fantastic. The crowd was into everything. Even the cruiserweight match wasn't entirely boring lol. They officially announced No Mercy for Staples Center in September too. I got to see Kurt angle and YOU SUCK chant him and I got to see the Hardy Boyz. Childhood dream come true, man.

I don't know how people are mad about a 900K AAV 2 year deal for a 7th Dman. You're not gonna pay a bench player 1-2 million AAV to sit in the press box. Holzer isn't a Norris winner but what team has a 7th Dman that is?

I don't think the Ducks are gonna get fucked over tomorrow. I think it'll be very underwhelming compared to what could've been though. Thought for sure this would be the time to finally trade for that top 3/6 FW using Vats and other pieces. Obviously, doesn't look like that's happening. Maybe GMs were playing hard ball with BM knowing he's desperate to save as much as he can on the roster.

Too bad this year's draft is pretty weak for Vegas. They'll have a good amount of picks they can trade though. That'll help a lot.

You're really underrating Kase, Nate. He's got some great work ethic. He's pretty fast, can stick handle, and is decent defensively but especially on the fore check.

Kase is a younger, and better Cogs. Totally okay with Cogs going.

I'll be there too. Looking forward to it. I've heard rumors of Bray vs Brock for the title that day. That was before Extreme Rules though so things may have changed. This past week's Raw was one of the best in a long time. Glad the story lines are getting better leading up to this LA Raw.
