  1. Yeah, I'm curious about Cobb. Hopefully they strike gold twice after finding Bundy. He's looked strong so far, hoping it translates. Walsh, Lagares and Ohtani are performing exactly like we all had hoped.
  2. Ohtani has looked incredibly well this Spring. 2-3 today and his last out was LOUD.
  3. I get the point that it's only Spring Training, but at a professional level to where guys like Canning and Heaney need to step up this year, it should mean something. I'm sure we've said they are here to get work in numerous times.... But with the Angels usually having a slow start to the season I think we'd like to see them get it together in Spring so that they come into the season hot and not use Spring to just "get their work in".
  4. Everyone is so protective when someone has an opinion about someone's performance. He started strong then chocked with his command. No need to defend his struggles today.
  5. So I guess no one can dominate either..... Pujols and Upton fluke stats
  6. Or i'd be okay with this: Fletcher 2B Iglesias SS Trout CF Ohtani DH Rendon 3B Upton LF Walsh 1B Stassi C Lagares RF Adding Lagares brings elite defense and his bat has been red hot this Spring. If anything, he's earned the roster spot.
  7. I wouldn't mind the batting order looking like this: Fletcher 2B Iglesias SS Trout CF Ohtani DH Rendon 3B Upton LF Walsh 1B Stassi C Fowler RF I think this is a lethal lineup
  8. Agreed, but one guy that has really impressed me is Walsh. Just his whole story being a 39th round pick he just seems solid at the plate. Also has a good glove. Should 100% be the Opening Day starter at 1b Lagares has opened eyes as well
  9. Can't believe i'm saying this but Cobb is pitching really well so far today
  10. Would expect Rivera to be getting some action in that one as well
  11. Have to assume the Astros will be in contact with Odorizzi. Would be good if the Angels can get prevent this IMO
  12. And this time his back foot didn't move...... Hits a BOMB
  13. Ohtani backing out of the batters box again in that at-bat.....
  14. The lineup + subs looks like it'll be a fun game to watch!
  15. This is getting pathetic. NFL, NBA and NHL all EXTREMELY high-contact sports are playing yet here's baseball where the most contact you'll make is tagging someone out on their ass and they still can't figure it out. Texas has decided to open, NFL had limited fans and the Arizona Coyotes, which in an indoor arena, has limited capacity. But god forbid let's push back baseball back in any way we possibly can because the centerfielder might cough on the right fielder..... Standing 135ft away.....
  16. Is anyone else at all a bit surprised Marsh hasn't started yet but has only subbed in? Thought for sure he'd start today. Guess that could be the problem with Lagares, Jay, Folwer, Ward, Adell and Schebler looking for playing time.....
