    I wouldn't mind Nevin for another year. Speculate what you will about his managing skills, but one thing I love about Nevin is his grit and no nonsense temperament. He backs up his players and they seem to have a level of respect for him. Even if they get someone new, i would still want to see Nevin as a bench coach or something, seeing him lose his shit is pure entertainment.

    I would like them to sign Bassit and resign Lorenzen as the 6th man. Rotation: Ohtani, Bassit, Sandoval, Detmers, Suarez, Lorenzen. Off topic, but would also love to see them then grab Profar who can play both INF and OF. and Mancini to play 1B and also cover some OF. This would in theory provide lots of solid regulars to mix in at multiple positions.

    Rogers has a 3.4 WAR this year. McMahon had a 4 WAR year in 2021 and already has a 2.7 WAR this year. Granted, the rest of those guys suck. The Rockies are a victim of terrible GM's. The Angels, a terrible owner.

    My rough idea: A 1-game elimination tournament is held at the halfway mark of the season, followed by a longer "all star break" to give players more rest before the 2nd half of the season resumes. The winner of the tournament has an opportunity to lock down one of the wild card spots in the playoffs.

    It's a lot more fun to imagine Moniak working out. If he hit well enough in ST to win a starting CF with Philli, then maybe there is some hope. Can we call him Moniak the Maniac if he pans out?

    I was hoping to see Crod and Canning back this year to see what they can do. Both have the ability to be impact pitchers for 2023

    He's a former top prospect from the Braves org. Numbers are pretty trash in the MLB however and he hasn't played in the majors in 2022 yet

    I hope this means no more Rojas in the OF. I’m hoping they have Ward platoon at 1B against tougher lefties and play right field in all the other games. Then platoon Adell and Marsh in LF & have them both play when Ward covers 1B or Trout needs a breather. Please no more jose rojas starts he sucks

    I think if Perry adds another pitcher it wont be until after spring training ends. Much like how he added Watson and Cishek last year I think Perry wants to see what he has to work with. Still hoping for another starter

    I've felt the Angels have been on the verge of a big move since the minute the lockout ended. I hate to say it, but there's certainly an ever growing or likely chance that we wont see any major moves and the team we see on paper is what the Angels are running with. Fuck Arte tho

    So Angels give Kurt Suzuki a 1.5mil contract last year, and he then produces a -0.4 WAR. Angels logic: Lets give him a raise and sign him for 1.75mil this year. Fucking ass
