I know a lot of people were hoping Pujols would announce his retirement during this series in St. Loius. Unfortunately, he didn't. In fact, he actually did the opposite by expressing his intention to keep playing until his contract ends. In tonight's post-game interview, when asked about playing in St. Louis again, he said “yeah it's going to be the last time I play here unless we play each other in the world series this year or in the next few years that I'm playing" Sounds like he has zero intention of retiring before that contract ends. Bummer. Was hoping he'd retire soon
