Its been longer than that. I'm not going back in the game archives,but it feels like maybe Trout started going bad when he started hitting behind Ohtani. I'm sure someone will research and prove me wrong. I can't base this on anything, but to me it feels like Ohtani is stealing some of Trout's thunder hitting ahead of him.

I wish Nevin would just try and bat him in front of Ohtani at least for a few games. It's a long shot, but maybe a change of scenery in the lineup ahead of Ohtani sparks Trout. It's not going to hurt anything at this point.
