Lmfao. Serves ya right for walking them all. Much deserved loss.
-
Really love this Rivera-Barria combo. Great start!
-
Would be even better if this suspension doesn’t start until he returns from the DL. Could miss the entire season, then. Anyone know the rules?
-
The M’s are likely the Angels biggest competition for the second WC, so this is welcome news. He’ll still be back for their final 42 games but this will hurt them severely.

Where is Blash trending? Towards AAAA? Japan? He's gotta produce when he gets the chance. He hasn't.
Calhoun hit .158/.246/.287 last May.
Calhoun hit .324/.388/.505 last June.
Calhoun hit .169/.256/.312 last July.
Calhoun hit .300/.396/.489 last August.
Calhoun had a normal September.
But he's trending down? Did you say that last May? Last July?
I wasn't aware that 9 ABs = getting a chance.
And lol, I look at the overall numbers. I don't cherrypick like you. He was below average offensively last year.

Giancarlo Stanton hit .118/.211/.206 over 30 days. In 2016. I'd say he's bounced back.
Hall of Famers have had bad seasons. Seasons where many thought they were done. They weren't. I can't imagine how some of you get through a baseball season
Calhoun has been trending down since last season. This is a continuation and it's getting worse and worse.

Blash hit one ball 116mph.
Blash struck out four times in nine at bats.
Blash has struck out 104 times in 289 plate appearances in his major league career.
And you wonder why he isn't playing RF for the Angels?
Mind bottling.
Why are you bringing up his strikeouts while neglecting to mention that he also takes walks and hits lots of HRs? That's the kind of player he is. He deserves a chance to play.
As for Calhoun, this is no slump. Nobody can slump to a .385 OPS almost two months into a season (with much worse numbers than that lately).

Good win. Much needed with their two aces scheduled next.
-
May as well make him chase now
-
Putting the winning run on base. WTF?!!!!

WTF that's a foul ball not a wild pitch
Definitely a passed ball

Wow, nice throw

And there it is.

Anderson the guy. I'll never be comfortable with whoever they go to in the 9th right now but I'd rather him than Johnson tbh
Anderson can be wild, unfortunately. Hopefully that won’t happen here.

Let Heaney finish this game!
-
Likely won't be back until 2020, unfortunately. Eppler better be on the phone. This team needs 2-3 reliable relievers, at least.

Of course Ohtani is the best player in the world. Name one other player who can hit like he does AND pitch like an ace. You can't. He's a once-in-a-lifetime kind of player.

Everyone heading for the exits
the angels have awesome fans
Well, Ohtani did leave the game only to be replaced by Bedrosian.
-
What’s the point of giving someone a day off if they’re going to still bat later in the game? Trout should’ve been the DH from the start.
-
Maldonado: professional catcher
-
Lol. How stupid does one have be to pitch Bedrosian in a 1-run game?
Scioscia is brain dead. Ohtani doesn’t deserve to have this pathetic manager

Oh definitely. The Angels can’t afford to keep giving away these games they should’ve won. Eppler better do something fast.
