Pitchers are scared to throw anything fastballs in the middle of the strike zone to Trout or fastballs in the lower part of the strike zone. The book was out on Trout many seasons ago.

I want to fight everyone of these assholes who hit our guys in the elbow at the plate. 

It is impossible to compare players across eras, especially the further back you go. We simply don't know who among the old-time greats would have thrived in today's environment because they would be very different people. For instance, you can't just plop 1920s Babe Ruth into a game a century later. He'd be a different person.
But baseball talent is baseball talent. I'm pretty certain that Wagner, Cobb, Ruth, Hornsby, Williams, Mantle, Mays, Aaron, etc, would have excelled in any era. Cobb probably wouldn't have hit .400 in today's era, but he might have consistently hit .350, and with 20 HR a year rather than 5. Ruth might have looked something like peak Frank Thomas. Ted Williams, well, I think there's an argument that he's the greatest hitter of all time.
Similarly, if you put Trout back in the 50s, he might have hit .350 like Mantle did a couple times. 
All of this is to say that there's a reason that the modern stats like WAR and wRC+ are so useful. They're imperfect, but they give us a sense of how good a player was relative to their peers, and that is, in the end, the only way we can judge a player.
As for Pujols, in another thread I said that he wasn't quite inner circle, and not even a top 20 position player. I might have to soften that a bit, but haven't decided. I'll futz around a bit and maybe write something overly long. There's no denying that, for about a decade, he was the best first baseman since peak Jimmie Foxx and Lou Gehrig. He was a better version of Jeff Bagwell, or Thomas with the bat but Mark Grace with the glove. But the fact is, he stopped being a star after a decade. The very best of the best were stars for longer and didn't tarnish their resume with half a decade like Pujols' last five years. So if he's "inner circle," he is definitely not "innermost circle." Pujols was great for ten, ok for five, and terrible for five. 

Ill say this. In the past few months, theres been a handful of chicks i thought were old, that dropped the mask for water and were like, you know, 36, but banging

Pujols had an advantage that many sluggers (Aaron, Mays, etc) didn't have, which is most of Pujols' prime years (2001-2009) were in the steroids era (juiced baseballs, expansion teams, etc). That's like the best hitting era ever in MLB history. So Pujols' career slash line were a bit inflated, probably. While guys like Aaron and Mays had the advantage of getting to face starting pitchers a fourth time in many games, most of their prime years were during dominant pitching seasons. It is what it is. 

I remember the Dodgers were striking out a whole bunch of times against the Astros during the 2017 World Series. That is not going to get it done in the postseason. Runs are harder to come by because pitching is better. An extra 90 feet increases the stress pitchers. That was a big reason as to why they lost. I know what the Dodgers fans will blame on for why they lost the 2017 World Series. And I don't care. I did shit back during my school years like cheating and wasn't caught many times. 

The dodger game i watched earlier. At least 3 hits I saw, I swore were outs.

And I hope the Dodgers are one game under .500 after this series or just one game or .500 after this series. I just never had a liking for them because many of their fans are a bunch of fakes and douches. 

It's shocking that we have not been talking about how the marine layer affected Pujols when he was with the Angels. I'm sure there were many times where Pujols thought he had a home run but the ball just died at the warning track at Angel Stadium. Aaron didn't have to be worrying about the marine layer too many times compared to Pujols.

Zodiac was creepy, no doubt about it. I kind of knew that his code was not going to contain his real name. No one would have the balls to kill people and tell police that their real name is hidden in the code. And he was great at making contact with people. Trout should learn a thing or two about making contact because he’s striking out way too much so far this season.

Jaws wasn't really a scary to me but it was intense and dramatic. Kind of like the Zodiac Killer when he was sneaking up on his victims. Another scary thing about the guy is that he was never caught. Might have those Trout-speed to elude the police. 

Angels win 5 in a row,  thus sweeping Dodgers,  getting above .500, we'll all be excited again.

Another good thing that Pujols has going for him is that he can still put the ball in play. Putting the ball in play has become a lost art, man. Especially when it comes to sluggers. Most sluggers strike out way too much. Only a few guys who I can think recently that can hit home runs and put the ball in play is Pujols and Bregman. Miggy isn't that guy anymore. The same can be said about Encarnacion. 

.211/.400/.526 in 25 plate appearances so far for Trout this month...SMH
