  1. I am so glad he quit losing on purpose so he could go and manage his beloved Dodgers.
  2. We usually only mention the Rangers when one of you trolls come to this website and start talking shit. Quick question, how many of us went to whatever your equvalint of RangersWin is and talked shit on you after being one strike away, twice? The answer is probably zero, we have better things to do.
  3. My brother (splint) and I lost our older brother , Paul, about 8 years ago. Paul was 10 years older than I was, so we weren't as close as I wish we were. But I can tell you it took weeks for me to feel normal again. I just felt like something was missing. Doug (splint) who was only a couple years younger than Paul was pretty close to him, and I know it took him much longer to be over it. I would NEVER question the amount of time it takes someone to grieve and get over it. Sometimes real life needs to take priority over the game of baseball.
  4. Only when those people doing the judging deserve it.
  5. Or maybe he is really heart broken. Who loses a sibling at that age?
  6. I'm blown away that he isn't trying to lose on purpose anymore. I wonder what made him change his mind.
  7. My guess is every team in the majors would struggle if they had to come up with ten different starters in the first seven weeks. To be honest, outside of Blanton, the only starter that really shit the bed was EnWrong.
  8. I get that this is a team we should beat, but even when we were playing well in recent years, the Royals always seemed to have our number, much like the Blue Jays. So to see us dominating them this weekend feels extra good. Hell half way through this game we were being no hit and yet still winning. That's a good sign that we maybe have turned a corner.
  9. In case you guys are keeping score, another run courtesy of the contact play. Also Aybar got down a sac bunt.
  10. So, in he should have said, in retrospect I shouldn't have had faith in the guys I put out there.
  11. He hadn't pitched in two weeks and although they hadn't scored Buckner was pitching out of a lot trouble.
  12. The second coming of Brad Mills (AO that's for you).
  13. Buckner has done well. I know nothing about him. Was he a starter in the minors this year?
  14. If we are .500 in early June then there will be over 90 games (could be close to 100) left to get back into wild card contention. If we go 60-40 in the last 100 games, which would have been crazy to think about two weeks ago, we will be right around 90 wins and probably in a wild card spot.
  15. Also, I won't get my hopes up until we are .500. Then if that happens soon then we will have a chance to win around 88-90 games.
  16. People give Scioscia shit about productive outs, but this is something the team has struggled with the last couple years. I would rather be leading the league in runs or OPS, but this isn't so bad.
  17. What I'm going to do is enjoy the winning.
  18. You do realize that in order for Mike to take the blame and say he made a mistake would, at the same time, be calling out a player, right? Managers that call out players don't last long and certainly doesn't help team chemistry.
  19. We should have traded Trout last year to fix the bullpen.
