    Navarro will be optioned and Joyce will be released. Platoon of Victorino and Murphy in left. Dejesus a good bench player to have. Not too bad. Price in the trade market was way up there obviously

    all we heard about was all this pitching depth we have that we were going to get a cost controlled bat in return or a lead off hitter, if that didn't work out a bat behind pujols that could tear the cover off the ball and then they end up with a platoon in left. Yes, David Murphy's numbers are solid, but I don't see how this can make us contenders for the AL pennant

    The Astros are down there with Springer, Correa, Keuchel, Kazmir, and are looking to add more while the Angels get David Murphy and Victorino.

    Ugh oh. If Trout is hurt and can't be himself we should just stay pat with what we have and try next year. No way we get anywhere in October as a wild card, no way we win the division with the Astros loading up and about to get Springer back.

    We got arenado and Blackmon for Joyce, Rucinski, and shoemaker.

    Zobrist's numbers are just about exactly in line with career numbers. He was injured but other than that has been vintage Zobrist

    Damn I wouldn't even care what we gave up for him as long as we got to keep one of Heaney or Newcomb. Imagine trout and arenado together

    Yeah no way I include Newcomb for that headcase. If they want Ellis, shoemaker, and a bullpen arm I'd be okay with that

    It makes too much sense. That's why it won't happen. Adding Ethier for left and adding a DH would make this a real good offense. Oh well. We will see what the FO does in the next couple weeks

    Why haven't we looked into Zobrist? Price is probably through the roof though

    Murphy and Robertson wouldn't be too bad out in left. But we have the pitching depth to get a good young hitter, so let's take that route.

    I agree. I don't see the Tigers as sellers. They have the offense to get through October, not the pitching though. I think they will flirt with a wild card which will cost them heavily in the long run because they will lose Price and Cespedes with nothing to show for either
