    Yes it was. They haven't had a legit powerbat DH since he left and right now he would be batting cleanup in this lineup and be the best power hitter on the team. He is EXACTLY what they are lacking right now. Ya sure, Hector Santiago has been good, but he's just a #3/4 starting pitcher, big deal. You can find those guys anywhere, there's tons of pitching in todays game. Good luck finding a 30hr, 100rbi, .270, .800ops hitter. I would take Trumbo back for Santiago and Skaggs in a heartbeat.

    It's like you guys don't remember last season. If this season plays out like last year, we get hot for a couple months and beat up on the teams who quit who have no chance from July to Sept. and win the division make the playoffs. So what? We enter the playoffs and the anemic offense returns because we are facing quality teams with high end starters and our true colors are shown. 1, 2, 3 sweep with virtually no runs and no hits in 3 games. The team is flawed, in a big way.

    I agree, hes so shitty. The angels need a 3b more than they need a OF but everyone is focused on OF.

    pretty simple. last year he had 15hr and 20sb in 388 AB's with an .821 OPS. With those stats he'd be our 2nd best hitter on the team, ya, even better than Calhoun. He also plays decent defense. He also was just sent down to the minors and is an ultimate buy low candidate.
