  1. 3 of 10, but a couple I didn't read clearly enough. Good thread.
  2. HK is my favorite player, but watching a favorite at-bat means someone who will give the pitcher a bit of a fight. I still think that person is Trout. Still waiting for Hamilton to get hot.
  3. More than Pujols, I don't think this team goes anywhere w/o Hamilton getting hot. I still have hopes, but it's a bit depressing the way he's been going.
  4. I think we'll blitz them. At least 3 of 4.
  5. I agree with this. I know Pujols missed his shot, but he's been doing well of late and Rivera is in the elite class. Weaver basically screwed up the game in the third , walking a no-bat to lead off the inning and giving up the homer when he badly fooled the guy the pitch before. I mean, Weaver is the best so he deserves to be off once in awhile but this loss has to be laid at his feet.
  6. I said yes, but we've been through this ad nauseam so why put the guy through any unnecessary stress? Let us enjoy this streak.
  7. I have a notion it wouldn't have mattered how he pitched based on his history, but I think it was a mistake getting rid of him.
  8. Seem to hit Pettitte pretty well. I'll go with HK 2 for 4 2B
  9. 3 for 12 (I don't think he'll be significant in this series.) 1 for 4 vs. Wilson 2 for 4 vs. Hanson (Maybe a HR and/or RBI here) 0 for 4 vs. Weaver
  10. Arte or Dipoto's fault, this shouldn't be happening. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in Bizarro's world. Are they going to come around? Tell me what you think.
  11. I don't know who to blame for the second Abreu extension though. It made no sense to give him the at-bats, but there he was trotting out to play.
  12. Like many have said, his legacy will depend on Hamilton and Pujols. I do think that Arte had his hand in these acquisitions though.
  13. Sometimes you sign a guy based on potential. I liked the Madson signing and still do. I think GMs should take risks which is why I was so frustrated with Stoneman. However, the Blanton acquisition across the board was deemed very questionable.
  14. I also think Reagins got a bum rap. You just get tired of arguing with these guys after awhile. Besides Wells and Abreu, I think he did pretty well. Kazmir and Fuentes were good bets that didn't work out. See what happened with Rodney the year after. I don't think Reagins has much to do with what's happening now. The starters and offense were pretty good when he was here. The bullpen was his biggest problem.
  15. I don't remember either of these guys being a problem in 2009 when we had Guerrero, Morales and Hunter. The point is these guys aren't the problem. Look to the so-called run producers.
  16. My question would be so when is it okay to be lost?
