An article, I believe on the main site, spells out the pitching schedule until the off day. I assume that Williams turn will be missed after that. I did not see a ststement definitively stating this, but I think it's happening.
There shouldn't be any drama. If Trout can't perform hitting when playing LF, then he doesn't deserve all the kudos he gets here. What is the real difference?
Never thought about this, but that wouldn't maximize his talent. I'd rather use him as a spot starter or long relief. I don't think we need a closer that badly.
I never understood this mentality of pitching differently, especially a closer, depending on the score. Did Frieri comment at all on this? Is it just "one of those things," is his arm tired, or did he "tip his cap?"
Took me awhile to find it, but I did. Turns out we were both wrong although you were closer. The ball was up and a bit outside but it was too good a pitch for A-Rod.
I know we haven't cashed in yet, but I still remember finding out we signed Pujols after being in the dark the entire night and early morning. Didn't find out until I got to work.
The pitch to Cruz was terrible. I think he got a bit impatient that he didn't bite at the two balls so he challenged him since he's been terrible this year. Didn't matter on the face of it since we weren't touching Ryu.
