  1. This is what I alluded to. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130529&content_id=48990826&notebook_id=49047268&vkey=notebook_ana&c_id=ana
  2. An article, I believe on the main site, spells out the pitching schedule until the off day. I assume that Williams turn will be missed after that. I did not see a ststement definitively stating this, but I think it's happening.
  3. There shouldn't be any drama. If Trout can't perform hitting when playing LF, then he doesn't deserve all the kudos he gets here. What is the real difference?
  4. Not really. He may have been dabbling with a lot of pitches then.
  5. Never thought about this, but that wouldn't maximize his talent. I'd rather use him as a spot starter or long relief. I don't think we need a closer that badly.
  6. Blanton - No Kershaw. I'd take a chance with the offense. However, I'd rather see Kershaw than Ryu.
  7. Mucho kudos for Weave! Under the circumstances, he pitched a great game and stopped the bleeding. That's the definiton of an ace.
  8. I never understood this mentality of pitching differently, especially a closer, depending on the score. Did Frieri comment at all on this? Is it just "one of those things," is his arm tired, or did he "tip his cap?"
  9. Took me awhile to find it, but I did. Turns out we were both wrong although you were closer. The ball was up and a bit outside but it was too good a pitch for A-Rod.
  10. Forgot about The Bunt. I still don't fault Scioscia. Really upset that Aybar didn't at least make contact.
  11. Did we win all the games? Does anyone know the scores?
  12. Doubt Weaver will go 7 unless he's absolutely on which I don't envision. I think 5-6. I hope to score a lot off Capuano.
  13. I know we haven't cashed in yet, but I still remember finding out we signed Pujols after being in the dark the entire night and early morning. Didn't find out until I got to work.
  14. I was just going to write that I thought we were finally over the hump when we lost 3 games in a row against the Brew Crew.
  15. The pitch to Cruz was terrible. I think he got a bit impatient that he didn't bite at the two balls so he challenged him since he's been terrible this year. Didn't matter on the face of it since we weren't touching Ryu.
  16. I still don't think the pitch was bad. I give credit to A-Rod for hitting it. As I remember it, the ball was low and outside.
  17. Does Joyner's rip of the ROY count? I was so upset. It just compounded the whole year.
  18. I realize he's generally bad, but since I generally don't see him I wasn't sure if it was a) an especially good game or his normal stuff.
