    That first inning pretty much sums up the frustration for the typical Angels' fan. Wilson imploding. Bases loaded, no one out with the heart of the order coming up and nothing happens.

    I 'm not so worried about losing Weaver, as I think Richards can pull up the slack for several weeks. However, who's going to pull up the slack for Richards? It seems like there's one guy that comes in each day and implodes. Perhaps, when Madson returns, we'll be good, but I don't want t be 4 or 5 games out by then. One week in and we're 3.5 back.

    Well, we went after Greinke so I'm not sure what else we could do. I think DiPoto made sure he shored up pitching after letting go Haren and Santana. We need the guys to do their jobs, mostly hitters. I see no reason why the Weaver injury, seeing the teams we're up against during his slots, should impact us that much. So this long answer is no.

    I don't watch every episode, but Duchovny is good and the supporting cast especially Handler, his ex and her husband are hilarious. That being said, this and Shameless, an even better show, is the only reason to have Showtime. I got it free for 6 months and I find it atrocious.

    I know the focus has been on Weaver, but has anyone read anything from Scioscia or the man himself why he was so terrible yesterday?

    I'm not sure what they mean by "regulars." Will it be that their names appear while the theme music plays (have enough room now that Lori, Andrea, and Merle should be gone) or, like Hershel and Carol, their names appear right after the show comes back on after the commercials?

    Still, 2 on the road vs. Cincy and Texas is about right. We've been in all of the games. I think this one will be close also. I think Richards will shut them down.
