wanna know what's funny? we've been so upset about our offense that we completely forgot to panic about CJ Wilson pitching tomorrow... it's not great when your starting pitcher is the least of your worries in an elimination playoff game...

i'll be watching at a bar. that will either help or make it worse, i guess i'll find out. At least there will be NFL dudes hitting each other on other tvs. so someone will be getting some hits.

i'm not a Scioscia hater or a Josh hater... but there is clearly something wrong with this picture... maybe he's getting pressure from above to play Hamilton. Like- ABOVE ABOVE. not Jerry, not Arte- GOD.

I just thought I would share this in case anyone here isn't on Twitter or didn't know about this otherwise. I just found it today because the Angels organization retweeted it. Joe Smith's grandmother had and now his mother has Huntingtons Disease. Check out his website- there's no ice bucket challenge or anything like that but it deserves attention. If you don't already know- it's genetic and he has a 50% of being diagnosed as well. He's such an asset to our team, he deserves our support. I'd still rather be playing KC. This series would be too meaningful if it had been us vs. the A's. With our current lack of hitting and the A's pitching we could have expected probably a worse result than what we are currently getting. i guess you never know- maybe facing them would have pumped our guys up, but I wouldn't put money on it.

Sources tell me that the team watched "Swing Time" in the plane on the way to Kansas City and were particularly inspired by this scene... coincidentally tomorrow we can expect to see Albert Pujols doing a tap routine after he hits a home run.

when the giants went to NY to play the Mets.. it all just went downhill from there. now Hunter Pence is like the replacement Jeter with the amount of attention he gets.

Yeah, Arte Moreno is the WORST. He clearly doesn't care about the fans or the team- doing terrible things like investing in high end free agents, signing our young talent to longer deals so they stay with the franchise and trying to upgrade the stadium. I wish we had a great owner like Rockies' Dick Monfort who tells his fans, "you don't deserve a franchise." and "if you don't like it, don't come to games." Or someone like the late owner of the Mariners who never once watched a game in person and never even stepped foot in Safeco.

Fire Butcher when the bullpen explodes. Fire Butcher every time CJ pitches. Fire Scioscia every time he makes any kind of decision that doesn't produce a win. Fire Scioscia for being what was so eloquently articulated yesterday in the GDT, "a fat, lazy Italian"... Why is Don Baylor getting a free pass? His arrival as hitting coach coincides with Mike Trout's problems at the plate and he's the captain of this stagnant offense.

You're saying the Orioles offense didn't have more than one bad game in a row all season? Two of their last games were to losses to Toronto where they only scored one run. Before that they also split a series with the Yankees who shut the out 5-0. They had practically the same let down in their offense as the Angels did after clinching. Otherwise they would have caught up to our record. That's ALL this has been. 2 bad games in a row. If it turns into 3 then season over, we all start watching more football... but let's be realistic and not act like the 2014 Angels are the worst team in the history of the game.

well, that was fitting. strike out by mike trout. I'm so tired of everyone calling him the new Mr. October and MVP... I just want him to go back to being a really good ballplayer without all the fanfare and hype. It's clearly messing with him. I am so afraid that he's getting ruined...

well... The Angels don't deserve to win. they had so many chances and so many good hitters who did absolutely nothing.

doubt it. if we were going to struggle this much with our offense then facing even better starting pitching wouldn't be helpful. that and the A's offense was more inclined to have big innings than KC.

i'm tired of people complaining about the crowd. Same thing was said last night and I was there and it was awesome. granted i was in the cheap seats but it was super loud and lively. We were screaming our lungs out.
