Thread almost lost me on the soccer jerseys but i kept going because I wanted to make sure my contribution to worst broadcaster ever wasn't redundant: Ted F-ing Leitner. Padres radio PbP guy. If you are trying to follow the game on the radio, good luck. He would rather talk about something unrelated than actually tell you what is going on on the field. Honorable Mentions: Michael Kay and Paul O'Neill (whose color commentary basically involves relating EVERYTHING to a story about Derek Jeter or Andy Pettitte or some other 90's Yankee has been) Meredith Marakovitz redeems them a little because you can tell she does her research, knows the game and contributes in a way Alex Curry could only dream of doing. White Sox, Red Sox (their color guy might actually BE Peter Griffin), Kansas City, Nationals and this doesn't count but you have to mention him: Joe Buck.

thank god joyce was out for defense. he wouldn't have caught that.

if they are worried about pace of the game they should just add an out to the tally instead of having Matt Joyce walk all the way to the plate.

i know i'm late to this train, started watching the game a little late (because of the weird start time) and had to catch up to the live coverage... but man, i'm really struggling with Matt Joyce. it's not just his (lack of) offense but when he's out in the field it seems like he doesn't even try to beat out some of those fly balls that drop in front of him. or is he just that slow on his feet? I didn't watch him a lot before he came here so i don't have a great frame of reference on him prior to spring of this season.

Howie Kendrick just pulled some heroics and saved the Dodgers' asses. i still think of him as an angel. it's weird.

every time Joyce almost takes out Mike Trout, more likely it is that Josh Hamilton stays an Angel.

kole being out is really screwing us. if he was in right, cowgill could be in left and Joyce could be in his hotel room

i'm not blaming rucinski for this one. we've stranded a million RISP and the defense has let him down. He has obviously been rattled by things in and out of his control. he'll be better next time. I'm blaming matt joyce for everything right now.

It might be too early in 2015 to relegate Weave to the bullpen on opening day 2016. Don't get me wrong, he looks awful so far and it's really disheartening, but there are a lot of games to play. He might get it worked out. I'm just as negative as the next Angels fan but it's Weaver... he's been our guy for a long time and 2 games is a small sample size.

Hey- Madison Bumgarner just got chased out of Petco after 3 innings. 5 earned runs allowed on 10 hits. That's more interesting than whatever is going on in our game.
