    I follow the Padres too (because I live in SD, not because I hate myself) and believe it or not they seem to have even worse luck that the Angels when it comes to the strike zone. I don't want to see the robots take over baseball because i'm a traditionalist, but I agree that it's been pretty bad so far.

    This is my favorite kind of Angels game: the 1st inning is SO bad that if we even so much as score a run by the 6th inning, the game feels like a success.

    I'm so glad the Angels drafted CJ Cron instead of Sonny Gray. We'd be missing the fun of getting beaten by Sonny every time we face him.

    it has to do with Royals fans exploiting a loophole created by gmail's privacy settings. a missouri blogger posted instructions on how to set your address so that it disguises itself by adding a letter or number every time you hit submit. something like that... not exactly cheating but not exactly honest. but still- who has time for that much voting? that's way too many captchas.

    he's been nursing that hamstring but I thought he was cleared to play. better safe than sorry I guess. It's just tough to watch what's happening with Bitzie there.

    Am i the only one who would rather see Freese playing 3rd? he might not be the best 3rd baseman in the state but Kubitza has been fairly terrible. Are we attributing that 100% to nerves or do people really hate Freese that much?

    Yankees Eovaldi gave up 9 hits and 8 runs against the Marlins in 2/3 of an inning. Didn't even make it out of the first. Gave up 1 run to our stellar Angel offense not 2 weeks ago.
