If people are currently undecided but feel that Trump is having the 2024 election rigged against him and vote for him based on that, I would ask them how they feel about fake elector schemes, phone calls to election officials about finding votes, telling other officials not to certify the election “tonight”, telling them they’ll get them lawyers to help them out, etc. If that doesn’t bother them, then so be it. But again, it would just show double standard. One side is trying to use one of the amendments of the constitution to disqualify Trump, whether the interpretation is correct or not, while his side is having his lawyers plead guilty and admit the shenanigans they were up to. I think we both can agree though, 2024 is going to make 2015/2016 look tame in comparison. Should be interesting.

If there is one thing 2016 taught me, never rule anything out. I don’t know if anything is going to or not going to backfire. If people think Trump is a victim at this point, no amount of evidence being exposed would matter anyways. It truly would fulfill his statement about shooting someone on 5th Avenue and not losing a vote. No one else is responsible but him for his actions. No one forced him to do the things he’s been accused of or caught on tape doing. The right either believes in personal responsibility or it is just a talking point that has no meaning because they can’t set the same standard for Trump.

Then we’ll need to update the constitution then for the 14th amendment. Let’s be honest, Trump is getting his due process and much more with all the other criminal activities he’s been indicted for, a lot of which he’s been caught red handed with. In fact it’s proof Trump is getting preferential treatment compared to others. Jack Teixeira is sitting in a jail cell for his intentional mishandling of classified information while Trump’s out golfing and campaigning. The same crowd that chanted “Lock her up” suddenly cares about due process. Which I have no problem with. Just be fucking consistent.

I think I read somewhere that the appellate is supposed to make a decision on the 9th. If they rule against Trump, that’s where it will get interesting. The SC can either say the appellate has already made a decision and not rule on it or they can take it. I have a feeling they might not take the case if they rule against Trump.

It’s going to end back up at the SC eventually. This is a victory that Trump usually wins anyways. The delay tactic. Smith took a risk to beat him to that but lost. So I believe it just goes back to the appellate court. That’s my understanding at least.

If you want to say that Democrat policies don’t help blacks today, I have no problem with that. But the Dixiecrats of the 1860’s preached small government, states rights. The south has pretty much always been conservative. They’ll go with with whichever party stands for their conservative world view, Democrat or Republican. That’s why they’ll cry their heritage is being taken away but in the same breath try and associate modern day democrats with their Dixiecrat ancestors.

And if you’re concerned about that, I take it you acknowledge that the Lost Cause myth and the southerners who perpetuated it were the ones who truly tried to erase history, correct? Hmmm nah I don’t think it’s lazy or taken out of context. The Bible mentions God killing or ordering the Israelites to kill people which would include children and even pregnant women. And yet abortion is abhorrent in a God’s view. Doesn’t add up in my opinion and is hypocritical. I’m all for believing what you want. But I believe it’s inconsistent.

What’s going on between those two countries is their business. But unfortunately Obama and Trump sided with the Saudis and supplied them with weapons for their conflict.
