  1. If you have an hour and a half to kill, really good video Tank. He comes to the opposite conclusion but still great information. Guy makes quality content, including one on Jack the Ripper.
  2. Hmmm nah I don’t think it’s lazy or taken out of context. The Bible mentions God killing or ordering the Israelites to kill people which would include children and even pregnant women. And yet abortion is abhorrent in a God’s view. Doesn’t add up in my opinion and is hypocritical. I’m all for believing what you want. But I believe it’s inconsistent.
  3. Didn't the God you worship kill a bunch of babies in the Old Testament? Just want to verify the consistency of baby/fetus murder throughout history. Especially what is acceptable and what isn't.
  4. Hitler became Jewish. A plot twist I didn’t see coming.
  5. What’s going on between those two countries is their business. But unfortunately Obama and Trump sided with the Saudis and supplied them with weapons for their conflict. Really wish our tax dollars weren’t being used to contribute to the bloodshed we all know is coming. Let’s all hope no school children get blown up during their field trip this time.
  6. Where’s a good guy with a car to run over the mother fuckers?
  7. If possible, Israel just needs to find a better way of getting at Hamas if they are using innocent Palestinians as human shields. Every kid that gets killed by Israel just feeds into creating another terrorist down the road. Rinse and repeat. Especially if Israel continues to encroach on territory like many have accused them of. We had every right to go after the Taliban and the terrorists in Afghanistan after 9/11 but we all became more critical of how the government conducted itself with every civilian casualty that happened in the process. Israel is facing the same situation. If we can be critical of our own government, we can be critical of Israel if they do the same exact stuff. They have a right to defend themselves but they don't have the right to indiscriminately kill. Otherwise they become no better than Hamas.
  8. White House walking back Biden's statement in 3...2...1
  9. I agree they'll get it regardless of which party has control but that's the problem. It's cognitive dissonance being upset about money dumped into Ukraine and shy away from the decades amount of money having been dumped into Israel. And will continue to be funneled to them in the many years to come. Oh well.
  10. As far as aid to Israel...... https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4274682-where-gop-speaker-nominee-mike-johnson-stands-on-ukraine-israel/ “[T]he United States unequivocally stands with Israel and we will provide the support and resources necessary to rid the Middle East and the world of hamas’ terrorist regime,” Johnson said in a recent statement to Nexstar station KTAL. “Please join us in continued prayers for our friends and our allies in Israel.” In a post on X last Thursday, Johnson appeared to say Biden’s recent Oval Office speech “only confirms the urgent need for the U.S. to act in support of our great ally, Israel, as they fight against Hamas terrorists.”
  11. So Trump pushed for a vaccine that Biden is trying to take credit for but many on the right are critical of the vaccine and won’t take it because they say it’s worthless. Hmm sounds like a Trump product. People have already gone over the border wall or cut through it. Or certain gates have had to be left open due to monsoonal weather. Not against it but it’s not a cure all solution. But Trump as you know never got that check from Mexico. Should never even mentioned it. I just wish Trump could have replaced Obamacare like he promised along with giving us infrastructure, paying off the national debt (haha), etc. I know it was difficult with Republicans controlling the House and Senate for his first two years in office. Not a failure at all. But the middle class did get temporary tax cuts which will expire in the next few years. That’s nice. Inflation was coming no matter who was president. Nothing like this happens overnight. Keeping interest rates artificially low for the last ten years when we had good economic times was asinine. And the Fed did try to raise them in 2018 but Trump threw a fit and pressured Powell to stop. He even wanted interest rates to go negative. If the economy was doing so well, there would have been no need to keep them low. Throw in a worldwide pandemic, printing trillions of dollars by both guys (don’t forget, Trump’s last stimulus bill was passed 30 days before Biden took over, worth about $900 billion), things opening up with the roll out of Trump’s worthless vaccine, demand skyrocketing world wide and you’ve got world wide inflation. Biden hasn’t helped it but he’s definitely had help creating it. We’ve been giving money to Ukraine since 2014, nothing new. Trump said he could end this war in one day. I ask why didn’t he solve it from 2017 to 2021 instead of giving them money (or trying to withhold it). Last I heard, Russia was still in Crimea and the Donbas region during his entire presidency and the two sides were engaged in firing at one another. And to @cals point, we’ve been dumping money into Israel since the 40’s and no end to the conflicts over there. While some conservatives on this board are good with cutting Israel aid, it’s not as vocal from others like Ukraine aid being cut off is. Of course Biden’s budget is higher. He’s a Democrat. They don’t pretend to be fiscally conservative. As mentioned, Trump and the Republicans had complete control of everything for the first two years in office, then senate control the last two years. The results were yearly deficits going up, not down. Not one balanced budget or surplus. Spending was out of control even before Covid. And Republicans now control the house with a slim lead so they have some control over the purse strings but they are too paralyzed to function. And yet Biden and Trump will likely be the two main choices in 2024. We never learn.
  12. Why is Biden's hand going through the book in the first picture? Boy I hope someone got fired for that blunder.
  13. It's just too bad she didn't think about her actions at the end of 2020 when Rudy was vomiting hair dye from his head. Glad she finally has regrets when the writing was on the wall.
  14. From this "Before her plea, Ellis, who lives in Florida, was defiant, posting in August on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, "The Democrats and the Fulton County DA are criminalizing the practice of law. I am resolved to trust the Lord." To this "She rose to speak after pleading guilty, fighting back tears as she said she would not have represented Trump after the 2020 election if she knew then what she knows now, claiming that she relied on lawyers with much more experience than her and failed to verify that the things they told her were true. She said she looks back on the experience with "deep remorse." "What I did not do but should have done, your honor, was to make sure that the facts the other lawyers alleged to be true were in fact true," the 38-year-old Ellis said." I guess she gave up on her trust in the Lord.
  15. Hmmm I'm not a big fan of his phrase "You practically never heard the word." I prefer old school Trump. "Not many people know this but indicted is a word." It just sounds better in my opinion and it reminded us how much smarter Trump was than all of us and was gracious enough to share such hidden knowledge.
  16. Excuse me sir but I believe it was a peanut butter jar. Hence the dog being there….. hoping for a lick. Wondering if that did happen though, if he liked the extra skin from cals or would have hoped for a little more of a cut steak.
  17. My condolences to Patrick Duffy and the guy who wrote her lines on Step by Step, @Taylor's dad.
  18. That's okay. I'm locked in at 2.875% currently. I'm good.
  19. Agreed on the Red Sox. Not on the Dodgers. As pathetic as the Angels are, it's kind of nice seeing the Dodgers being the 90s and early 2000s Braves with all their Division titles resulting in one World Series championship in a 60 game season. As for the college campus situation and what statements I have read from Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc., it doesn't seem to far off on what I have seen posted on AW in this thread. Maybe not the exact same but in my opinion, pretty damn close. And for the most part, I don't think any AW member should be canceled. https://thehill.com/homenews/education/4255049-colleges-professors-backlash-israel-hamas-controversy/ These opinions were there before the Hamas attack on the 7th and now it's just out there with more focus. For the record, I think the Palestinians need to rid themselves of Hamas but Israel needs to be under the microscope a lot more. Especially Netanyahu. I would not be shocked if he knew the attack was coming and let it happen so he could level Gaza.
  20. Blacklisting seems suspiciously like cancel culture.
  21. I think we all remember after 9/11, we were told they hate is because of our freedoms which seems really laughable in hindsight. But Bin Laden made it pretty crystal clear in 97 or 98 why he was declaring war on the U.S. along with what his stated goals were for trying to draw the U.S. into conflict. A big reason was our support for Israel and Middle East policy. If we’re going to be an ally of Israel, whatever. But that does come with consequences if Israel is going to have baggage that conflicts with the Palestinians and other Middle East countries. There’s enough blame to go around for everyone.
  22. With assistance from Bush, Trump and Biden. It’s really a team effort.
  23. Their fence/wall didn’t have a great day last week.
