  1. Only problem with Cordero, is that like Isringhausen or Hawkins, Scioscia will fall in deep man-love with him. He will be gassed in June, if not before.. If he makes this team, beware! Wrong kind of player to give to Scioscia.
  2. I don't frequent Ralphs for beer, and I have been wrong before.
  3. There is beer, and there is beer. If you can buy it at Ralphs, Ablertsons. or CircleK...it isn't beer. I love beer.
  4. Only way to make In n Out better, would be to add some great small batch craft beer to the menu.
  5. She just sits back and builds houses for herself. Don't think she will mess with it.
  6. The Gal that owns In n Out....she inherited it. Not even 30 yet and has had three husbands.
  7. Spent my racetrack profit there. Paid for the order of the Monrovia cop that was behind me in line. Always try to keep the karma good!
  8. I think I ate at that one just last time down there. Off the 210 near Santa Anita?? Had a need to feed my pony addiction and knew Santa Anita was open...After a 6 hour drive, a good place to stretch the legs and bet a few races. Walked out with a 66 dollar profit and a great afternoon of racing.
  9. I lived in Alaska from 80 to 95. Commercial fished and worked for an Airline up there.. Wien Air Alaska...predates Alaska Airlines. The reality show fascination with Alaska amazes me..all the gold and fishing and cop shows from up there. They are all so successful. People in the lower 48 seem to be starving for that stuff. I have to say, most of it is pretty real. I guess there are so many people that cant imagine living like that makes it interesting to them. I watch them to see how much the places I know, have changed in the last decade.
  10. I think it's actually Laval road after thinking about it...but yeah...that is the best In n Out on the 99 route (right after the 5-99 merge)
  11. Just for the record, I will not eat ANY fast food except In N Out. I commute between Socal and Yosemite, and know every In n Out between Merced and the Simi Valley. Best one is at Lavar Road just So of Bakersfield.
  12. We raise goats. We single out two bucks each year and have them professionally done by high quality butchers and vacuum sealed by cuts. We trade with neighbors that do the same with steers and pigs. So yeah...I do know my meat.
  13. Anyone that would eat good beef well done, or anything over medium rare, needs to go vegan.
  14. Edited to MEDIUM RARE....even before you asked...lol
  15. 11 pages and nobody has chosen Anaheim Angels Stadium, Home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.. as a place they never eat? I stopped eating there years ago. Have a couple of the soft coolers they have given away over the years. I grill up a New York the night before, throw it in the fridge, (MEDIUM RARE) and make steak-onion-cheese sandwiches before heading out to the ballpark. One of the 2 lb bags of roasted peanuts in the shell from any grocery store (Trader Joe's used to have the best ones but they stopped carrying them) I usually grab some napkins at the ballpark....but that's it.
  16. Rumor has it that Blanton is so slim this spring that people didn't recognize him. So, someone worked hard in the offseason.
  17. If your son has sat or cable in No Cal...find out if he has FSW available to him. If so, get a slingbox. Pay him the 5 or 10 bucks a month for your own cable/sat box...hook a slingbox to it. You can watch through you computer...(if you have a decent internet connection at home). Slingbox is great. I have a boat in So Cal, but live up near Yosemite. When I am at the boat, I watch all my TV through the slingbox.
  18. Never thought of disabling adblock (firefox) for this site. (one of the main reasons I use Firefox) I am going to do it. Will report back.
  19. @ age 34, VW is playing almost every day, this early in ST? Showcase?
