30 is pretty average for donkeys, not so much for horses. Horses are more delicate to colic and that sort of thing. Luckily we didn't have to nurse him through any type of long illness. He was fine in the morning, and was gone that afternoon. We should all be so lucky.

Had this thread on another MB I used to frequent. It lasted a long time, so figured what the heck...I would try it here. Myself...I bought some mandarin orange chicken at Trader Joe's last week. They were chicken nugget kinda things, and I just pulled them out of the freezer a few at a time, and while they were OK, they just didn't taste real "orangey" to me. When I went to cook the last ones, lo and behold, there were 2 packets of mandarin orange sauce in the bottom of the bag! So I am having mandarin orange pork chops tonight.

Deschutes Abyss 2010 Deschutes Black Butte XXIII A good buddy of mine lives in Bend and helped start that brewery back in about 1980. I was drinking Deschutes back when it was still an "in house" craft brewery. I got my interest in brewing by visiting him, and hanging out there. Every now and then a UPS truck shows up with a few "samples" he thinks I should critique.

So Sorry, Jay. We just lost our beloved donkey "Dummy" last week. He was over 30 and we had him for the last 18 years. Tough losing our pals.

Big contract isn't even in the discussion yet, but a big raise was in order IMO.

His contract is ace-like, and expectations (at least mine) are that he be ace-like on the mound. I am giving the guy a pass for last season, yeah he didn't suck, but .....
