    Half way through Season 2 of 24. Kids are loving it and it's been so long, I am surprised by a lot of what goes on having forgotten most of it.

    Star Wars marathon in timeline order: Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, Solo, Rogue One, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, 8 episodes The Mandolorian, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and wrapping up with The Rise of Skywalker tonight/tomorrow. Mandolorian is awesome. Alien characters and special effects look awesome, storyline is fun. Original 3 movies (eps 4-6) are hard to watch at times. Light saber dueling is laughable between Vader and Obi Wan in episode 4 when you have just watched their epic fight at the end of episode 3. Same thing with the Vader who is tossing people around and sabering everyone in the corridor chasing the plans at the end of Rogue One to the one we get at the beginning of A New Hope. The continuity was off. The other thing that was noticeable was how Leia aged. She seems really young in NH, but immediately feels 10 years older in TESB. Fast forward to Force Awakens and she talks strangely. Maybe too much botox or meth, I don't know.

    About to finish Ozark Season 3. All of these shows you guys are throwing around sound interesting. Which would you suggest I start next between: Better Call Saul (loved BB), Fouda, Cardinal (is it at all like Bosch? or more like The Killing/The Fall?), Billions, Medici, The Last Kingdom?

    Smoking makes the meat taste better, I think. Cooking slower can make the meat more tender as well. These pellet smokers are cool in that you turn the thing on, get it to the temp you want, put the meat on it and walk away. Gives you more time to focus on the beer. I put Tbones on mine for nearly 2 hours last weekend, then reverse seared them to complete them for about 4 minutes. Best steaks I've ever made. Did brats and cut up veggies last night. Just put the brats on and shut the lid for 2+ hours. Came back to check their internal temps. That was about it. Just ate the leftovers for lunch and were fantastic.

    Family has been indoctrinating the kids on Clint Eastwood. So far, Pale Rider, Million Dollar Baby, Gran Torino, In The Line of Fire, A Perfect World (really, more a Costner flick) and Good, Bad and Ugly. Probably, putting westerns at the forefront next. Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, Outlaw Josey Wales, High Plains Drifter, Unforgiven.

    I didn't read the story, only saw the headline and assumed that was new info. My bad. I agree with both Lou and Brandon. All teams likely have degenerates and we continue to support the team even when the team doesn't do the right thing. Hill is a fucked up person and is probably 1st team All-pro in this regard.

    I'm through 5 episodes of Bosch-Season 6. Also, through 5 episodes of Ozark-Season 3. Both excellent shows.
