  1. Seriously, do you really need to know such personal information? Creep
  2. Been hanging out at Smog City quite a bit lately. Love the crew there and Amorilla Gorilla is a great easy drinking IPA. Look forward to the beers that they will be releasing soon as well. For those who like Belgian beer, head over to Monkish in Torrance and support these guys. Feminist and Rosa's Hips are right up there with all Belgian style beers. What is nice is that these two are across the street from each other. Going to be awesome when Dudes officially opens up in the area as well. It is great to see that within a few minutes you can hit up Beachwood, Strand, Monkish, Smog City, El Segundo Brewery, and Dudes. South Bay is becoming a rising craft beer mecca. Will be up at Firestone on Saturday for their annual festival...can't wait.
  3. Selling Dodger/Angels tixs and flipping that money to buy tixs to game 3 for the WCF, priceless. This will be a tough test for the Kings. I would say that the hawks have the second best offensive attack this season. As long as Quick keeps up the amazing play, they have a great shot.
  4. Been drinking a lot of Dudes Brewery lately. Cant wait for the cans to be released in a few months. These guys are going to get huge over the next few years. Their Juice Box Series is going to be legit if they continue with brews like the Blood Orange they have done. Their IPA's are great. If you are in the HB area, head over there tonight at 5 pm and try them out over at Slaters for their tap takeover for ACBW. Get a free glass as well. Went to lunch today and had a new IPA to the area, Fremont Homefront double IPA. Pretty good overall but not great. Interesting that they brew the beer with unfinished Louisville Slugger bats. A bit too malty and not quite hoppy enough for myself. The brewer of this beer is former Mariner Chris Ray and a portion of profits go to Operation Homefront. Give it a shot if you come across it.
  5. Yeah, I am sure we are going to get an impact arm in a trade in May with the talent we have to offer another club.
  6. No worries the Angels will probably acquire Billingsley in the offseason, pitching deemed fixed.
  7. So they still have better pitching than the Angels? I don't feel bad for them.....yet
  8. And that is where journalism has gone these days...
  9. I would take him on the Angels. Douche or not, heck of a talent and plays the game the right way.
  10. Trading Donn Roach may end up being a mistake as well. Liked the little that I saw of him and he hasn't fallen off yet. Roach, Corbin and Skaggs would be pretty nice to have as of right now.
  11. I like Sellers stance there as with the Padres guy. Are they about to slap box?
  12. Sumo wrasslin', now that would have been funny.
  13. By the way, I would take a brawl in an Angels game. Maybe that can get this team on the same page.
  14. This is hilarious. It was a fight, tend to happen between athletes in all major sports. Quentin, like any other player that charges the mound, is at fault here. However, if you were hit three times by the same guy in your career you may get caught up in the heat of the moment. Every time Greinke has hit him its been in the shoulder. One could question intent there. Mattingly and Greinke say you arent trying to hit a guy in that situation which seems logical but the pitch was nowhere near the strike zone. So that begs the question on what he was exactly trying to do there? Doesnt seem like he was trying to get him out exactly. To those who think some precedent needs to be set here, you are wrong. Greinke getting hurt like he did is unfortunate but it could happen. It isnt like Quentin was tearing him apart. How does Quentin, who is slow, outrun Ellis to the mound? Like I said, Quentin is in the wrong but not any more so than any other instigator throughout the years. In the end, Matt Kemp has proven to me that my thoughts on him are correct. Just a hot head douche who doesnt respect the game.
  15. That has only been said a thousand and one times in baseball.
  16. Not really sure how thats a $52 dollar value, I guess with TM fees. 8 bucks at the gate and 5 to park though so its really only $11 off. Already the best value in town and I would rather watch young players struggle and watch them develop than what I have been watching in Anaheim the last few nights.
  17. While I dont agree with the post you are responding to, Pujols wasnt who he was talking about. As for this thread. I wouldn't take this tweet very seriously. It is too damn early to get upset anyways. I am frustrated like any other fan but I am not about to throw in the towel and finger point and call for heads to roll. Nobody, coaches and players, have not performed well as of yet.
  18. A shot for shot conversation. By the way nice black puppet avatar. Need to find one as well.
  19. It was my second time down there. Guys are cool there. They will remember you if you keep going down and will hook you up whenever possible above the bottle limit. They are trying to stop re-sell which has been happening. I have some spots around the South Bay that get it now and then and limit it to one and sell for 8.99. But they say they have heard places re-selling it for 17.99 which makes the brewery look like douches.
  20. Did the same thing as well. While I didnt find any Pure Hoppiness I did find Duet and Nelson.
  21. They could pay me and I still wouldn't eat a Domino's Pizza. Well wait....how much are they paying me?
  22. Liked their first record, got better on the second and this one is topping them all. Came out today.
