    Don't mean to be too much a homer, but I'd say the team with the most wins in 162 games can be called the best team in baseball. And I think the Angels have a good chance of being that team. Just assume they split the rest of the games with the A's and Mariners, and play well against the rest and it could very well happen.

    I listen to a lot of games on the radio- Smith and Langston sound so comfortable when Street comes in. No tension. after the second strike on the last batter they gave Street props and basically said just games are shortened and it will only get better when Morin gets back this weekend.

    Street has a $7M club option for next year. No Grenkie offer, but I'm guessing Dipoto is checking in, and could always do a Bean- get him for this year, pick up the option and trade him next year if an in-house option seems preferable.
