I’m not religious at all but this was beyond human comprehension. I’m crying. I’ll never forget this my whole life. Sports transcend can the game. Just a loss for words.

I actually like this. Would very rarely happen but it would punish big mistakes. This would also only work with fast runners. Even if the ball bounces 30 yards from the catcher Pujols would still get thrown out lol.

Holy crap he apparently topped out at 94. He was at 99-100 last year, that’s a massive drop in velo. Please please please tell me he was just taking it easy in his first start, that would be really shitty if it’s true moving forward.

This franchise is cursed.

Autopsy scheduled for today. Anyone know how long it takes to get results?
Saw another article that said October potentially.

Oh my god. He was starting to turn his season around and looked happy out there for the first time.

In all honesty why? Surely there has to be a better option then the 2nd worst starter in mlb...well actually Jackson is now "hurt" so he might be first.

And all that momentum is gone just like that. 3 game losing streak F*ck yeah.

Not wrong but also F*ck you

Well glad this wasn’t just me. Everyone seems to be having the same issue.

We need Fletcher back. Hopefully Tommy La Stella can get out of his few game funk!

One of the better live games I've attended for quite some time (in terms of the crowd). Watching Dodgers fans get all excited and talk shit every inning then the team proceeded to waste opportunities was hilarious.

What I'd like to hear:
"What do you think about the criticism of soccer as a boring-ass game? I mean, just a bunch of people running around chasing a ball all day. You might be sitting there at home for two hours and maybe one or two goals are scored. What kind of entertainment is that?!"
Sounds like baseball

He's definitely better offensively than Merriweather this season, but I'm not sure the consistency from year to year make the gap only a slight gap at most.
Yeah for sure, I'm only talking about this year. Either way I don't expect him to get in. Realistically Trout, La Stella, and Fletcher are all deserving but no way a mediocre team gets 3. Also this fanbase isn't like the royals, so the votes won't be there.

I think Whit Merrifield gets the nod. They were comparable offensively work a slight advantage for La Stella. Merrifield is better defensively and did it last year, too.
Plus, who else will make it from KC?
La Stella is noticeably better in every offensive category. I agree that KC needs a player and Angels fans don't vote as much so I doubt La Stella gets in.

Interesting decision to draft Molnar. Pretty cool because I know him personally. Hopefully he can follow Canning path to the team but his injuries shave really derailed what was once an extremely promising career.

Back from my trip and the team is in the same position as before. Actually surprised, thought they would tank.
-
And once again we have to question Asmus’s decisions. Man he’s been horrible.

I wonder what Harvey and Cahill think seeing a dude in his 5th start dominate in a way they can’t despite being in the league for 10 ish years.
How various Angels will look when they're old men

We need to win 2 games in this series. At this point anything less is terrible even though it’s the Astro’s.
