  1. Bauer and Puig both blow up then they're immediately traded LOL. Also just checked Archer stats, I didn't realize how overrated he was. Hasn't had an era under 4.0 since 2015, thought he was a lot better considering how you hear him talked about Nationally.
  2. I feel like he's been hurt consistently all year. Is my my memory poor?
  3. Anyone that wants someone other than Upton moving forward (maybe some prefer Calhoun over him which I could kinda see) is hating just to hate. Goodwin might be better now but he isn't long term unless this is suddenly his actual form and not a one year thing.
  4. Upton has been pretty ass since we signed him. His ability to hit with runners on in any form is absolutely atrocious and considering that's his main job, he's failing. Still you would expect him to return to his form 2 years ago before Goodwin shows he's this good consistently. At the moment Goodwin should be playing but it doesn't entirely matter anymore.
  5. Richards wasn’t nearly as extreme in terms of how bad he was when he was off. When he was on he was much better than Canning but Canning is a rookie so it’s hard to compare.
  6. Way too many fans are okay with living in mediocrity these last 5 years. Losing two games to Baltimore is not okay regardless of the year. They are a terrible and even a below average team should win 3-4 against them.
  7. I think he has mental/confidence issues and it's not a talent thing (part of it because Skaggs was his mentor). One start he look great the next he looks like he has never pitched a day in his life. Never seen anything like it (different then just getting hit around). If we didn't have the thinnest staff in the league he would more than likely be sent down to figure it out. Luckily I think this type of thing is easier to fix then him just not being good enough, so hopefully he can figure it out!
  8. Up until the terrible game yesterday he had a 3.10 era which is better than he was last year. One terrible game doesn't paint the whole picture but some of the advanced stats are a bit worrying.
  9. It was his 5th ever game umped at this level. Total rookie, which is probably why Boone was going for the disappointed dad rant.
  10. I think we would all say one more bad start and he should be long gone but this team has 0 sp depth so probably the whole year. So sad
  11. Idk why but Upton has always annoyed me. He’s so bad on defense and can’t hit with runners on. I miss Pujols at 4 lollll
  12. Via Jeff Fletcher as always. Woohoooo
  13. Smith is a 31 year old catcher, so I don’t really see him improving or being a building block of the future. The other 2 I totally agree about. I’m actually okay with the constant rotation of older catchers. It’s worked quite well the last few years imo.
  14. Still think that was stupid as F*ck to throw at him. They’ve been clawing back all game and have had all the momentum since the 2nd. Why give them anything. Garbage.
  15. Hitting wise he is our best option but the Astros broadcast went into detail about mistakes he was making behind the plate so it’s hard to say he is anything but a below average defensive catcher. Like I said, his hitting has been so good that it doesn’t really matter and I pretty much want him or Dustin playing every day over Lucroy.
  16. Why ruin what’s going on right now for this. I also think the idea that you haven’t played baseball if you don’t think you throw at him is asinine. I played for 17 years and still think it’s ridiculous given that we’ll have a pitcher ejected and we don’t have anything to spare. Also it could end up igniting the Astros who are 2-3 over their last 5. Just not worth it at all right now.
  17. The Phils have the worst record in the NL since the end of May which is actually pretty astonishing.
  18. He is pretty garbage defensively but his offense more than makes up for it. Great add!
  19. Realistically how long is a small calf strain gonna keep him out for? I’m guessing all of this week?
  20. Smith has been just as bad behind the plate. Thank god for that DP but this reeks of a blow out.
  21. That was some of the worst pitching I’ve ever seen. 6 walks and 4 wild pitches in 1 inning. I would be surprised if that’s been done before
  22. The fact that they can’t tell by now is really worrying me. Ugh please only a game or two.
  23. I mean I would take John Means over most pitchers available on the market. He has the age and stats while competing in the best division in baseball. I doubt either of these two could pull him away from the Orioles.
