FireThemAll got a reaction from Halos of Anaheim in Imagine if Cowart was playing well?
Cowart is well on his way to joining McPherson and Wood as just another hyped Angels 3B prospect who won't make it

It's the four-cheese sausage lasagna tonight, I hear.

I am done with this team till Scioscia is gone. He is great only in his own little mind. The poor managing decisions have been the undoing of this team for the last three years. Arte and Dipoto need to wake up and realize where the change needs to be made.

FireThemAll reacted to Homebrewer in Now is the time to relieve Scioscia of his duties
With Kendrick and Aybar clearly and openly on the market, this team is being blown up at the core.
The Scioscia-ball era is over.
It would be stupid to take a new trip, down a new road, in a whole new direction...with the same beat up old clunker that broke down a few miles from home in past few trips. Trade in the clunker.

I don't care what manager/coaches were in the dugout, it would not have changed the outcome of the season.
Link? I would like to see some solid information that proves this.
Are you trying to tell me that if Scioscia and Butcher, et al, were in the dugout in Oakland, that the A's would still be in fist place?
I haven't seen you post this much OPINION all season. You usually post snide one word snikkers
When Scioscia becomes the topic you are full of opinions.
Well...show me some proof that this team would be just as bad without Scioscia.
You can't play your own game when Scioscia is the topic, can you?

The Angels haven't won anything in 4 years.

Also, it is moronic to have a Manager and GM with two different approaches to the game.

FireThemAll got a reaction from robblin17 in Now is the time to relieve Scioscia of his duties
Knee jerk? LOL it's been 4 years since we've made the playoffs, and this current team is basically the laughing stock of baseball considering the payroll and how terrible they are on the field. The players have changed over the last 4 years, the GM has changed in the last 4 years, so has the hitting coach...there is one constant in our failures the last 4 years...Mike Scioscia

FireThemAll reacted to Sciosciapath in Honestly...
As long as he has a heart healthy diet and exercises, I think so.

Should have been done before the season started.

FireThemAll got a reaction from Ohtaniland in Without Trout this team would be......................
Like I said in another thread, this team is at least a 105 loss team without Trout. Dipoto and Scioscia can thank this kid for saving their asses the last two years.

30-74
I think Mike Trout has saved a lot of FO jobs and Scioscia.
I think we will end up at least 20 games behind the A's when all of the dust settles.

FireThemAll reacted to Lifetime in More Trayvon/Zimmerman that you probably didn't see.
it wasn't a fight between two people, Zimmerman was assaulted. It does matter who started it. And yes, if you are being assaulted, and you believe your life is in danger, it is OK to defend yourself by whatever means you have available.

FireThemAll reacted to NrM in How many feel the Angels should give up on 2014?
You are so off..
I applaud what teams like the Cubs and Astros are doing...
If I'm a fan of one of those teams, I get excited knowing they will be in a great position to win in 2-3 years.
Fans like you seem content with being mediocre every year, while bashing other fans for expecting more out of this org. It's rather tiresome and annoying.

FireThemAll got a reaction from AngelsAndRamsFan in How many feel the Angels should give up on 2014?
I'd rather finish in 4th place and have a sense of direction with young talent in the system, then finish in 4th place with no sense of direction at all like the current team.
So, I think you're wrong on this one

FireThemAll got a reaction from SoWhat in Grit: The key to success
We would have never won the WS without David Eckstein's will to win. JB Shuck is a much needed addition to this team because of the grit he adds. The pine tar on his helmet really just symoblizes the grit exploding out of him, and Scioscia having wet dreams about being able to hit him leadoff every game. He realized that we haven't made the playoffs since Reggie Willitz was on the team, so had to replace him.
