Yeah, that's my point. Pujols should be less concerned with his stats and more concerned with how the team is performing. It's not a one man show...no need to be selfish IMO. If I was Hunter, I would have fought him too because he's bringing in a real negative influence to the youngsters by only caring about himself not the team IMO

Just curious - who's your least favorite player on the Angels? Hamilton? My least favorite is no Pujols after this, then Blanton, then Hamilton.

97 is actually very realistic. The Angels schedule is very hard. If they get swept by the Mariners this weekend, I guarantee you the Angels will lose at least 97.

I would be fine with Gubi or Langston as pitching coach. As much as everyone hammers on Gubi (myself included) for his repetitive, polynanna-ish color commentating, the guy knows a ton about pitching.

I agree YoT. I'm tired of these hackers! Get some guys with some plate discipline. Kendrick, Aybar, Trumbo, and Hamilton make outs far too often to be such a big part of an offensive core.

Rather see an "older" prospect succeed, then a guy at a higher level fail. I think Cron falls out of my top 8 after this year. Borenstein slides in there. Cron just isn't producing, and he's hitting in the same park that Lindsey is raking in. Hell, even Grichuk is out performing him at a younger age. I just don't get why you're so anti-Borenstein. Did he damage your ego by outperforming your favorite prospect? Just wondering...hope you don't take offense. Just looking for why you are so down on the guy.

I would rather be an Astros fan than an Angels fan right now. They have a loaded farm system with smart people running their organization (rebuilding the right way). The Angels, not so much. By 2016 the Astros will be contending for a WS with their young talent. They are going to be loaded.

What else is there to discuss? The team sucks...people are going to blame management...it won't go away until the team plays good for a whole season or Scioscia gets fired.
