crap....i was fooled. wtf happened. i am not sure cron has taken a pitch? he looked so comfortable in spring. i did not realize joyce was such a liabiltiy in the field. i think they will come around in the hitting.... i like the way john g is playing....not as well as kendrick of course who looks like he can finally contend for the batting title we once hoped for...maybe its just playing for the angels for some guys.

that is perfect for heaney...he had one good start with the big club and a few more down here...so he and everyone knows he can pitch when he puts it all together...getting beat to crap down here every few starts will do him good to develop some grinding ability...like shoe showed the other day after first inning.

cruz is a great pick up or SEA already 6bombs before week two concludes. just makes the hamilton signing that much worse...when players are there for the taking. we will be lucky if hamilton hits another one for us for 83million.

well reading a few articles with arte going after the contract of hamilton...him and the symbol may be gone. so no raking with hamilton

ya...I think its been so long since the last clutch hit...they forgot about it. maybe when Hamilton comes back and starts raking...it will start again

I am excited for our future pitching that is for sure...again following the up and comers is very exciting.

there are times in each game where Santiago looks like a stud pitcher...but rarely ever can he sustain it. the call where he does not get the strike out on the 3rd base ump check swing changes the game...it was horrible. his stuff looks better this year...we shall see over next few starts for him. Heaney has the type of pitching where a forgiving strike zone make him a world beater...of course I like it the first few outings for his confidence...but up in the majors that is not happening unless your name is bum or wainwight.

sell high:) decent player/prospect and rid the contract. next we can have hamiltion hit two dingers first game back and we can do same with him.

i think we can replace shoe(sell high) with the other two pitchers we have....flip shoe and alex to boston for betts. maybe throw in all the other 2b guys we have...make it a 6 for one deal

ya it doesn't matter how many for each....it matters when it happens....like yesterday in hign leverage situation. not that it changed the outcome of game...but it would have made it closer and things change when they are closer and more pressure. he could give weaver 3 calls on the outside to end three innings with no one on base...but take one away like yesterday...they are not equal....and they could cover themselves that way as to not have a favorite. not saying anything....but i was pissed.

one pitch can change the game...its a bummer.

i like them all. the last one in my mind is the toughest one...but i think they will want to see him up and what he can do for part of season...otherwise in same boat next year...if johnG is smoking though it could risk his mojo...i think he will hold the fort.

i think dipoto sees what we see virturally everytime santiago pitched it was crap one batter or one inning too many...scoc had to see it like 5 times in row before putting in his limit...there was lots of yelling at the screen. matter of fact i was seeing the same thing with weaver....but he turned it around and was clutch at the end of season.

joyce is going to have a great year and he will be clutch. cron is going to have a breakout year....looks like shoemaker will could have a solid 2nd year......i think we will win the division again. hopefully get to series...you never know when the 500 million in contracts decide to crap the bed like last year??? crazy trout said it was a learning experience....i will go with that.

i met a guy yesterday....talking about his son in high school baseball and he dropped that on me about his son the pitcher and this was old school ball verbiage and he was giving me some knowledge...i am smirking a little and in my head thinking dude half hr before i met you I just saw the commercial. I let him have his moment and kept going for another half hr talking with him....very nice guy!

what i meant by dodgers not smart...is outsmarting us knowing heaney would not cut it.

the trade is fine...most gm's and people that follow the game liked the trade. dodgers not that smart...they have a log jam going and lots of money tied up at second...not that money matters to them. Johnnyg can do half the job at small fraction of price...he seems a little clutch...and we kinda need it.

he has had five starts and lots of work...there is nothing in all that work that would say put him in a big league game at this point. he only had one walk today so that was not bad. he angle of ball coming to plate might be an issue with getting some calls as umps are not used to that coming in on a diag flight. batters still teeing off not good. salt lake would do wonders for him, maybe 10 starts to a season....unless we get rash of pitcher injuries....not sure how he can be up this year at all.
