Last night, made the mistake of getting the generic hot dog. Hoffy hot dog. Hoffy. Isn't that a bike manufacturer? If so, their dogs are as shitty as their bikes. After I finished the dog, I had this vision of "Hoffing" into a toilet within the next two hours. Unnerving.
Also had the garlic fries. Meh...
Tried for the waffle cone sundae. Out of waffle cones. On a Friday night. Got a regular sundae. It was more like a "Monday". Fuckin sucked.
Vodka tonics were good though!

I was a partial season seat holder that year. Some sort of 20-game package. I was lucky enough to get World Series tix to games one and seven. What a series...

All of it...for some high end prospects.

I am so very sorry. Death of a loved one is a hard thing...

With the Universal DH, Upton might make an attractive OF/DH player on a different team. Maybe a little First Base as well. (I can dream.)

Yeah we know. You can’t criticize anything related to “hero” teachers. Ever.
Well I think that’s unhealthy and almost ensures there that we end up with a problem.
I would say it reminds me of John McCain. War hero. It didn’t take him long to figure out that nobody was ever going to be able to criticize him or hold him accountable with that war hero status. So he exploited that to end up an entrenched corrupt piece of shit that exploited his job for his own power and wealth.
Some people are capable of seeing that a war hero can be a great politician that serves the people and a war hero can also be a piece of crap that exploits the hero status.
I am fine saying teaching kids is and forever will be an honorable profession. But if too many of them exploit the “hero” nature of the job to end up entirely unaccountable and selfish, then I am willing to say it.
This seems a bit of a generalization made in haste.

I don't think @EnglishCop is much of a fan of yours, either.
English Language Arts Teacher isn't either.

I am genuinely interested in being civil Strad. How can you call them unreasonable when the most seasoned, effective negotiators on the planet would predictably use delays to make progress?
Isnt it more likely you are simply frustrated as a fan not actually seeing progress?
So why not just be honest and say you are annoyed and frustrated rather than make a baseless accusation about the people involved when what they are doing is easily defendable (and predictable) as a negotiating strategy?
Seems like being "unreasonable" IS "The Strategy."
They'll all be unreasonable until it gets closer to Spring Training and then, they'll magically become more "reasonable."
Strategery.

I'd think maybe Adell and Walsh and pitcher would come close? Then maybe sign some offensive-minded dude to play first base.
It is first base, after all.
