    I have to be honest. Given that he was shutdown some time in July, I would be much more optimistic if he just had had the surgery. Keeping fingers crossed though!!!

    Moved to Anaheim in 1971 from Brooklyn, New York, I was 4 years old. My dad hated the Dodgers and wanted to be sure that I would never become a Dodger fan. We used to go to The Big "A" and sit in the trees just beyond the homerun fences. After the 7th inning they would open the doors to allow people to leave. We would then walk in and sit waaaaaaaaaay up at top.

    This just means that we need to move fast on any FA acquisitons, if that's the plan. Because If one of those contracts gets signed the rest of the off season is going to get ugly!!

    Trout get's it this year! It took a historical Triple Crown to keep Trout from getting it last year. This year, the baseball gods make alll things the way they should be and reward Trout for two amazing consecutive seasons. Also, MLB is looking for the new face of baseball and Trout is it. As soon as Jeter retires, the crown will be passed to Trout. MVP is the Validation that Trout needs to carry MLB into the next decade.

    Motocross has the best athlete's. Traveling at speeds fater than the human body should go, get propelled through the air and maintain their balance along with the impact from landing and let's not forget the constant impact from the smaller obstacles.

    I am in now way saying that surgery is the only option for Pujols' foot problem, But I just don't see rest being a viable option. I just don't want to see Pujols come back and start raking, only to have him wear down again. I would feel better if he actually had some sort of surgery to repair his foot.
