In terms of waiver wire projects this is as promising as it gets.

I think the Yesavage overreaction on Twitter is due to the added commentary by Keith Law.
Anyone that believes he's a bad pick at number 8 hasn't been paying attention. There are guys in bigger conferences getting hyped up because of gaudy numbers in conferences where gaudy numbers are a mirage.
I think the lack of offensive talent in the system would be best served by looking for the best possible bat available but I wouldn't cry if it ended up being him.
I almost fell for this because of the added commentary but when I actually looked at the numbers and reports so far you can make a compelling case that Yesavage is actually the best pitcher in the class.

Rada returned to the lineup and reached base 3 times (1 hit and 2 walks) with 3 stolen bases.

I’m sorry but I’m enjoying seeing this team fail. I’d rather have them fail this miserably than be mediocre. Call me a hater but the people who gave us this product need to bask in the shit show that they built.

Understandably some growing pains for Soriano in the rotation but man he has serious frontline potential.

I’m more bummed with the game Adell had than the loss itself. He’s been having such some amazing at-bats and I hope he doesn’t regress back to what he was. Like @totdprods said, I am already ruling this season out but it’s important to get improvement by our younger “core” players.

If my math is right, Rada is hitting .333 in his last 7 games now, and Fontenelle is slashing a robust .302/.408/.460/.868 in 19 games, with 6 XBH, 8 BB, 19 K and an impressive 11 steals in 12 attempts. I am indeed starting to get on the hype train for him.
Rada is tied for 6th with most hits in the Southern League. And he's 18.
With the state of the organization as a whole I am putting an unfair amount of hope into Rada’s development and I hate it. Dude is 18 years old in Double-A.

What a terrible call to ring up Jo

Numb to it all

Oh brother, at this point a successful season for me is a bottom 5 record leading Arte to sell, the youngsters getting better and obviously a top 5 pick. Oh and the Dodgers not winning the chip.

It’s okay, Trout will hit a solo home run in the 9th

Damn Jo really is coming around. Adell with a great at-bat to break up the no-no and now a great at-bat to get on base as the tying run along with a nice sliding catch. He was also safe stealing 2nd. He's an everyday player and let that confidence and comfortability grow.
-
I don't mind the steal attempt. It took a perfect throw and he still should be safe.

Let Anderson finish the inning. 2 runs is already insurmountable for this offense anyways.

Tucker Flint was a guy I was previously high on - skipped a level last season and went straight to Double-A after a strong debut. Having a strong start this season back with Rocket City.

What once looked like a strength in spring the pen looks suspicious as hell with the Stephenson injury, Soriano moving to the rotation and Joyce pitching with his eyes closed in the minors.

Still very encouraged for his development that he’s been improving on missing bats
