Yea lets give another mid 30s guy with an injury history a big contract. They need to stay as far away from utley as possible.
The angels have no other real options at 2b and SS. Would make zero sense to trade Aybar or Kendrick for a 4th or 5th starter.
They are also relatively cheap for the value that they bring.
If JerryD can get a 3rd starter, then I'm all for it, but I don't see them having such value.
I also wouldn't mind the him trading for a type A pitching prospect, but then the Angels would probably need to look to rebuild.
