    Current management? Drafting. Their last two drafts were excellent considering they didn't have a first round pick. And I don't give a rat's ass where publications rank our farm system. Our lower levels are pretty solid. And I can clear as day remember BA ranking our farm system the worst in baseball in 2000....

    If we didn't desperately need the bullpen help, I'd say yes it's too early. But that's not the case.

    Scioscia. This franchise needs a new image, or some kind of shot in the arm. I don't know if it's complacency, age, or drugs, but he's not the same manager he was 10 years ago. Very rare does he try to force the issue on the other team anymore and his handling of the staff is micromanaging mixed with roboticism. We need somebody new at the helm, somebody with a chip on his shoulder and a fire under his ass.

    Santiago has wicked stuff he just gets very eratic at times and it seems like when he does he's beyond the point of no return. He kind of reminds me of a left handed Ramon Ortiz.

    HMmmm interesting points. That being said I don't think it's a stretch to say one of our first few picks should be a catcher, maybe not the first. I'd be happy if our first five picks with 3 pitchers, a catcher, and the BPA for the other pick.

    Ianetta's defense hasn't been half bad this year (sans the past ball a few nights ago). Defensively he's earned it but we might as well DH for him and let the pitcher hit.
