Daniel Walton reacted to Don in What have you watched recently? (Please use the hide function for spoilers or plot lines)
The show was like 80% great, but all the deus ex machina stuff the writers pulled kinda ruined it. It’s like they would just write themselves into some crazy spider web plot-wise, then have something come totally out of left field to wrap it all up. That always felt kinda frantic and lazy, which took away from most of the really solid writing and acting. I liked a lot of the music choices they used early on in the series too.

Doolittle's career 0.89 WHIP, 6.5/1.0 Ks/BBs, and 380 Ks in 320 innings are beyond sick. He's actually been healthy enough, aside from missing most of 2015.
Definitely one of those "both sides won" trades

Trivino is bound to fall off a bit, AO. He's a lot better than I thought he was, though.
Treinen...I don't know how anyone hit this guy before. His sinker goes 96-98 and it drops about two feet. The crazy thing is..the Nationals still won the deal..because I think Sean Doolittle is the most underrated pitcher the past decade.
Just look at these numbers! http://www.espn.com/mlb/player/_/id/30283/sean-doolittle. Of course, he is injury prone which kind of wipes out my whole argument.

Daniel Walton reacted to John Taylor in you know things have gotten bad....
It really has become so predictable. The Angels will be facing a crappy team with a starter who's ERA is 4.50 and the starter will throw a no hitter through 5, the crappy team will slowly add more and more runs, then the Angels will get 1 or 2 runs in the 7th, leave men on base in the 8th, get 2 outs in the 9th, get a hit or two, and the someone will strike out to end the game.
