I could totally see that. I feel like that's the Disney influence right there. I dont care what anyone thinks of Lucas at least he had a vision and made his films they way he wanted. He didnt cater.

Ok... just got back a few hours ago from seeing this. Not really sure what im feeling right now. There was some really good stuff and then a few things that i didnt care for. Its a long movie with a lot going on,but is paced rather nicely, didnt drag at any points for me. Its still fresh, definitely need to see it one or two more times. Right now id give it a 6/10, maybe 6.5.

Just wanted to pop in real quick to say FUCK YEAH!!! and the offseason is just getting started, lets see what else Eppler's got going. there been a huge injection of talent into the system in the last year or two. This Eppler guy knows what he's doing i think.

Agreed. Shit usually goes down when we aren't hearing much in the media. I feel like the Angels have just as good a chance as any of the other teams to sign Ohtani.

Personally, i'm fed up with the "loot crates"/gambling boxes. Its widespread in the gaming industry now and only seems to be getting worse. its as if they build games around crates and microtransactions these days. Yeah i guess its nice that EA made some changes for BF2, but come on, they knew what they were doing. This isn't their first rodeo. It took gamers a very short time to notice how fucked the economy in the game was and yet, the company who designed and has been working on the system for the last two years didn't intend for it to come out the way it did? Sorry, that's BS. They thought they could get away with it and gamers weren't having it. I know its not just EA, but they've got to be the leader in gambling crates, i swear every game with their name on it has crates in it. Hell, they changed the gearing system in the MMO i play(a Bioware/EA product) in the last year, after 5 years of a perfectly fine gearing system where you would earn a token from doing whatever group content which you would then turn in for the gear you wanted or needed to a random loot crate system. It destroyed the community, it got so bad they they were forced to merge 20 servers a couple weeks ago, down to 5.

I also went with Pujols/Wilson. That night/morning was crazy and is one I remember fondly. Once the rumors started that the Angels were in on Pujols this place went nuts. The anticipation and excitement were palpable! Its a shame things didn't go as we all had hoped, but its still one of my favorite times as a fan of this team.

I'm not sure what they are planning to do, but lets face the facts, it's time to sell. They've been pulling this half assed "retool" approach since 2010 and that shit isnt working. I say sell everything and get what they can. They are finally starting to build a respectable prospect list... lets add to that.

This thread has been good for a few yuks. I cant believe you guys remember half this shit. It was such a breath of fresh air to come here from the old Angels.com forums. Lee...what can i say about that poor sod that hasn't already been said? He did bring a lot of the harassment on himself, I admit at times it was funny, but also a little sad the way everyone seemed to constantly goad this old fuck into an argument. HA! good times right?
