Like i said if a deal comes along that Eppler is comfortable making, even if prospects are invovled(Simmons and Upton trades) I dont see any reason why he wouldnt make it happen.

Its seems we agree then at least on one aspect, if the Angels haven't completely fallen out of it by July moves will surely be made. I dont think there's any timetable on moves to be made, if a deal Eppler likes presents itself, im sure he'll pull the trigger regardless of the what month it is.

They have money coming off the books again after this year and more budget room than they had at this time last year...

You may be right, still it shows that Arte is willing to spend more if there's room in the budget and the right players to spend it on. The Angels failure to trade for better players will have nothing to do with money, im pretty certain of that.

I was thinking about this as well. I mean if we the fans are this pissed about it, you got to believe the players are feeling it too.

It sucks and im sure we are all fed up with it. Im with dawg, i think Eppler is working the phones, the deals just aren't there. I imgine teams are simply asking for more than he is willing to part ways with at this point. I say hold on to prospects, i believe we are nearing the end of the transitional phase.

The amount of page turning over the last several years can't be good for the wrists. I think im developing a serious case of carpal tunnel.

I dont understand this notion that the Angels are somehow wasting the "Trout years". Have those that are complaining forgotten already how they got in this position? Reagins, Dipoto, Hamilton, Pujols, No trable assets for years, Ridiculous amount of pitching inuries, etc. I mean this was a long line of bad decisions and shitty luck. Its not going to be a quick fix.

Stumbled across this gem about a month ago. http://spaceengine.org/ Basically, you can explore the whole universe, from planets to stars and even entire galaxies. Over 100k real cataloged celestial objects. Uncharted regions have procedural generated objects. Its hard to put into words the scale of the simulation. Its incredible! You can land on Planets, fly through a nebula, watch an eclipse on an alien world in another galaxy. Hell you can do just about anything. I could go on and on, but i suggest trying it for yourselves. Game is free and PC only. Check the link to the site for more info + photos/ videos. From what i understand this is one man working on this. It is still in dev, but is far along with more on the way in the coming months/years. This the probably the best space sim i have ever played in all my years of gaming. If you any interest in exploring not only our Galaxy, but our ENTIRE universe this is the simulation for you.

its frustrating to watch. Richards obviously has skills he just doesn't seem to put it together. With stuff like his, he should be attacking hitters, not nibbling on the edges. Its like watching CJ again at times, but from a guy with way better stuff. Ohh well sometimes guys just don't pan out.

I get what both of you are saying, it was a cool symmetry to Obi as well as an awesome display of Force ability like none before. The expectations were sky high for Lukes return and i feel like the dropped the ball big time. Imgaine how great it would have been for Luke to impart lasting knowlegde on Rey about the force and the failures of the Old Republic Jedi order. Really expand on what the force is all about in a more detail. You know actual training. They gave us so little of anything. We got grumpy Luke for the whole movie and his death in the last couple minutes. Dont even get me started on Finn, what a let down. Before TFA i was really hoping Rey and Finn would become Luke new Jedi students. After that movie i figure that ship had sailed, but he might still go on the become something great and yet here we are two movies in and he really hasnt done much of anything. Thats the theme of the trilogy...wasted potential.

Yeah but we got Vader 2.0 and Sidious 2.0 and Rebels v Empire 2.0. Wouldnt have killed them to give Luke a decent send off considering these are most likely the last movies we'll ever see Luke in.

Not sure if this is supposed to be some dig at people that dont like this movie, but is has nothing to do with "head canon" for me or the vast majority of people that dont like the movie. Its just not a very good movie.

Im not even pissed at these companies anymore for the shitty business practices. If people are going to continue to but any piece of shit prodcut becuase of the name on the box regardless of the quality, then why not take advantage? Save money by making an inferior product, charge x5 what its worth an watch the money roll in.

If you have to tear down beloved characters to makes us care about these new ones, then you arent writing a very compelling story. They made Luke an even bigger POS in some of the deleted scenes(I'll see if i can find the article). Clearly they had no idea how to write the character. They wanted to make Kylo a sympathetic character by tearing Luke down. The director basically says exactly that. The more i think about it the more i dont like these new saga movies. This whole ST is so haphazardly thrown together and where they've taken it really doesnt make any sense as a continuation of the story after ROTJ. This is disneys attempt at making their own original trilogy for the new generation except this one has not even an ounce of the creativity or attention to detail that those movies had. Even the prequels were better. Wheres the world building? Every set is minimalist to a fault and feels claustrophobic. Rebllion vs Empire again? fucking dumb. What they've essentially done here is nullify the accomplishments of the heroes from the previous 6 so these paper thin characters that give us no reason to care about them or their jouney have something to do. I mean they really couldnt write anything better than what we are getting? I have loved Star Wars all my life, but i have to admit these movies arent very good and could have been so much better.
