    It's taste for me, it's my opinion. I'm not the one making the "only real fans......." I could personally never pull for my team to lose. That isn't to say that if they do I can't think "oh well, at least the will get a better draft pick", to me that is on a different plane than watching a game a truly wanting your team to lose.

    I think he will do well. I am really intrigued by the choice of Ultron as the villain. He's definitely been a great villain for the Avengers in the comics. I'm wondering if the Vision will be added to the roster at some point.

    Yeah, I thought The Stand was good the way it was done. IT was scarier than hell, but Glen is totally right. Stephen King was trouble with endings and that ending is covered in all things wrong. You would pretty much have to alter the ending. I can say though that the portions where Pennywise is interacting with the kids is some of the scariest stuff even on tv.

    Confidence is a false notion? Have you played sports? How do you explain hitting streaks or winning streaks? How do you explain big rallies? Of course confidence matters. Now maybe you were just referring to confidence from season to season and that could be debated.

    But if we bomb them we may have no choice but all out war. What if we bomb them and they decide to retaliate against Israel? This is a first step and every direction it leads to is horrible. There is no endgame with this.

    Scott, you do understand that dropping bombs on a country is basically an act of war, right? It's not something we can just do and not expect any ramifications from. I just cannot believe this is going to happen.

    If that is the case (Green at 2nd) I'm really confused with the trade. All they would be doing is keeping the spot open for one year until Lindsay is ready. He's got to play third or his acquisition is meaningless.

    The Angels problems hasn't been not having high draft picks, it's been giving them away by signing type A free agents. They also have drafted poorly more often than not. Add that to the fact that they have been trading away the better players in the system and that is why we have a crappy farm. Being 4-6 spots down the line is not going to make the difference, being smarter with the farm in general is.

    This is true if we believe several things. First that Dipoto is a good enough GM to make the right picks. Second, that our scouting has improved dramatically. Third that we will be able to sign said draft pick. Lastly, that the difference between a 4 pick and a 10 pick is that big of a deal. Now, for the record, even if I could be convinced that all four of those things were likely, I could still never get myself to root for my team to lose. Ever.
