I agree. Especially on Jose Ramirez. That guy won me my fantasy baseball league last year and I got him in a very late round. Those late bloomer hitters are crazy. Bautista, JD, Nelson Cruz.....

The Indians and Twins were supposed to be good. We helped them not be good. Though it seems the Indians might be awakening now. We went 3-3 against Detroit. 2-1 against KC. 5-2 against Cleveland. 5-1 against the Twins. 2-1 against White Sox. I mean Astros get a cupcake schedule in June too ... they are really going to pull away I assume from the rest of the division. And it's true, our schedule has been really easy in May. June looks much scarier ... but hey Oakland beat up on the Red Sox ... anything is possible in baseball.

Ended up being the game. Would have been the 3rd out, 2 run HR hit right after this. Mariners lost by 1 in the end. Lost 3 to 4 instead of winning 3 to 1 ... (in a perfect world).

I dunno. We've lost 3 games purely on Scott doing boneheaded things. Like not challenging obvious outs at home plate in time (though that may have been when Scott was ejected) and other things. A lot of us in the Mariner fanbase do not enjoy Scott.

We traded with the Yankees for him for nobody. Always had great stuff ... Shaky control. Looks like he has control this season.

We have won 16 of them. IF you took out our blow out losses in the beginning of the season our run differential would be a better looking +40 something. Scraping together wins with a literal AAA team has been fun though lately.

Eh. Too early too tell. The Segura/Haniger for Walker/Marte has been amazing though. He has had some dud trades ... mostly due to unforeseen injuries and the Cano situation certainly isn't his fault. Our farm sucked years ago, it sucks today ... not totally his fault. He did let Chris Taylor go for nothing ... but I don't think anyone saw that resurgence coming from the way he looked while playing for the M's. Trading Gohara for Smyly sucked in hindsight ... no one knew Smyly would blow out his arm in the WBC. I'm ok with Dipoto, but its hard not to be when coming from Bavasi and Zdurienck.

You guys can hate on Dipoto as much as you want, but he surely fleeced the Diamondbacks on the Haniger/Segura for Walker/Marte trade.
