I'm not saying he is Mike Trout or close to Mike Trout, but I don't see him being a pumpkin. He doesn't walk, but he's in the 90th percentiles of hard hit %, exit velocity, avg exit velocity, sprint speed, outs above average, and barrel %. He's 21. He's also not a cocky moron like Tatis Jr. And we lost A-Rod (oh well) cause we didn't do this to him. And to an extent, Griffey too. Seattle has to do what it has to do to keep / attract stars ... and that means $$$$$.

Nah. As evidenced, we have zero outfield depth. Haniger will be back soon but can't depend on him. Kyle Lewis really can't play the field anymore. Julio has missed a good deal of time after the ASB and is on the IL again. Winker ... well he sucks. Dylan Moore also hit the IL. Adam Frazier was our center fielder today.

Getting Castillo is great, but we need offensive help ... beyond Haniger coming back. I like the trade, I'm not super sad about prospects going away as I've been burned in the past by prospects .... but we better win doing shit like this ....

We also have Felnin Celesten signing in January out of the international amateur class .... he'll likely pop high on scouting lists and help the Mariner fans forget about Marte at least.

Jarred Kelenic. Jo Adell. Dustin Ackley. Brandon Wood. Big time prospects, with elite upside. Look at them. Only time will tell.
