    I've long (well, in the last year and a half) said that Wells is the third worst contract on the team. The two others are 10 year deals.

    Jordan Walden will become dominant. Tommy Hanson will be our team's #6 behind Garret Richards. Joe Blanton will be the team's #3. How about this for a compromise: Butcher should be caned if the Hanson for Walden deal has net negative value for the Angels at the end of the day. He can save his job by Walden being terrible or Hanson being awesome.

    Agreed with Iannetta being the best option. His slowness could actuallly be a good thing if it helps keep Pujols from trying to stretch extra bases when he shouldn't Where does Wells rank on your scale by the way?
