    Went to the Kilt before one of the preseason games for the 1st time...loved it! Sadly I won't be able to make it there before a game again till around mid November.

    Enjoy the game...super surprised to see tickets are as cheap as $25 now for this one.

    Yup, they even blackout the games on local TV to try to get people to go to the games, it was that bad over there.

    Toss up for Ruth's Chris or Flemings for me...need to go to Maestro's apparently and give that a try. For fun/atmosphere I like the strip house (i think that's what it's called) down in La Jolla. Big grill in the center of the restaurant where you grill you own steak. It's also a huge vodka bar with an enormous selection.

    I agree here, the pizza dough from Trader Joe's is delicious...I do same toppings but with pesto sauce and add some jalopenos!

    I like bruxie for breakfast...the waffle egg bacon cheese thing is solid IMO. Don't care for their lunch or dinner waffle sandwiches though. I'm a pretty big fan of Carmelita's (locations in RSM and Laguna Beach), their tacos el pastor are amazing (carnitas w/ pineapple). For a lunch time sandwich I really enjoy Golden Baked Hams right off of Alicia and the 5, their carnitas sandwich is money and I enjoy quite a few of their soups.

    Oh yeah, and Utah's receiver Sean Fitzgerald is like 25 or 26 years old, played basketball and volleyball with him in high school.

    What a game to watch...I was nervous the whole time. Happy to escape Utah with the win. Now its time to crush Cal and make up for last years debacle.

    it hurts the luxury tax number for this season for which we are dangerously close. next season vernon is off the books so we can afford to pay trout more.

    This is the point I was trying to make. These teams are too used to making the playoffs. Yes, in 2009 Angels fans in general cared less because we had been there since 2002 except for 1 season. If the fan base had cared more, ticket prices would've been much higher. Way to go to the game btw.
