    Going 3-3 against 2 of the worst teams in the AL isn't really turning anything around. Of course Astros and the White Sox probably say the same thing facing the Angels.

    This is where his shitty pitch recognition really hurts him. He just swings at anything near a strike and gets himself out most of the time. He is not a major league level player yet.

    Hell yes. They are paying half of his contract anyways and his contract runs only one more year. Otherwise the Angels are stuck with shitty Hamilton for 4 more years after this one. I would rather spend 15 million per year and sign Shin Soo Choo.

    I will dvr it for sure. Jerome is easily one of the good guys on the team and easy to cheer for when he pitches.

    Pujols has completely put a stop to Trout's steals. I have seen at least 4 attempts where Pujols ruined it by swinging and fouling it off.

    mattingly contract runs out after this year so the Angels can go any direction they want if they can get rid of Scioscia's contract.

    St Louis is in great place since they have a first place team and the top farm system in the league and arguably the top position player prospect in baseball. And letting Pujols go allowed them to sign Wainright.

    They offered him a 5 year deal for more per year than the 10 year deal. That seems like a fair deal for a 31 year old. It's not St Louis' fault that Dipoto gave him a ridiculous 10 year contract that Pujols could never live up to.

    Or if he is so severely injured that he can't play any more his contract would still be guaranteed but covered by insurance.

    CJ Wilson and Vargas should both be traded. They should bring back some pieces to retool the farm system.

    Tanking for the season worked well for the Red Sox but they were able to find a sucker in the Dodgers to offload many of their shitty contracts. Unfortunately they won't find anyone to dump Pujols or Hamilton unless you ship Trout along with them. And the Red Sox still has their number 7 draft pick coming up in the draft.

    The thing that makes non sense at all is the weight loss. It's not like he was overweight and went on a diet and lost the extra weight. The guy was pretty fit and from looking at his bulk lot of the weight he lost was lean muscle and that sounds very suspicious.

    Look at cases like Melky Cabrera and Gary Mathews Jr. They turned into complete garbage after they were caught or suspected of use. The sudden weight loss and sudden loss of power signals that this is something beyond a typical slump.

    Wrong they haven't made the playoffs sine the Napoli trade. Mathis lazy year also resulted in no playoffs
