It was that kind of stupidity that people were saying when McGwire and Sosa were hitting 60 plus home runs every year. It's not the baseballs its the players

My theory is that with steroids and performance enhancers entered baseball pitchers were throwing harder than before. Plus with the relief pitching becoming prominent more starting pitchers don't have to go deeper into games so they can throw harder and it's a sprint on the mound now not a marathon. So injuries are happening more often. You don't see guys continually at 90 or 88 and rev it up to 93-95 every once in a while. Guys are at 95 and revving up to 100 a lot or so and its just destroying arms. It's also on the coaching and training staffs. Richards came into camp throwing 100 and that's a recipe for dumb. You can't come into spring training that hot and expect to think your arm will hold up. Its very concerning as a baseball fan to see this stuff happening every year.

Richards was an easy call on Tommy John he came in way to hot throwing over 100 in debut of spring that's on the coaching. The rest I don't know there's something wrong with our medical staff, training or something. Skaggs still isn't back to mlb and Wilson couldn't heal, Richards gone, Trop gone and Heaney gone that's not a great grade on this teams training or medical staff. Could it be all bad luck or is it something else entirely that could have been prevented?
