  1. Your funny you love calling him out. You should meet up and just fight it out if you talk as much smack as you do
  2. Actually no buyers remorse and I don't know the plan and it sounds like u don't either. Other wise you said it was well publicized. What is well publicized the fact he said the Dna of the Angels was to not tank? Cause other than that I don't know what the Angels plan is
  3. The problem is most these "older" Angels fans got "their" World Series championship and now are just obsessed with this notion of having an Angels player with an Angels hat in the hall of fame.
  4. And ladies and gentlemen this is a baseball player. Physical conditioning is optional haha. Baseball players 15th on the athlete scale
  5. That wasn't me saying it @gotbeer was the one who said that. I was just asking his logic on it. I don't think us making the playoffs while he was here on his first contracts will make the difference in where he will sign long term when he is a free agent. I think money and talent on the team and ability to spend will be a huge priority for Trout when he signs as a free agent where ever he signs. He will be a free agent though there is about 0% chance he signs an extension while still under contract and more than likely there will be an opt out clause like all these other free agents probably after 2 or 3 years.
  6. I didn't say trade off everything I said we will never know. I just told you what teams did sell off everything and got better in 3-5 years. I don't care what the Angels do. Its not like I will be buying tickets to go to the Angels games anytime soon. They have been fucking with the fans for a while now I had season tickets for 10 plus years and stopped two years ago because of how they were treating season ticket holders and what was going on. So the Angels can do what they want to do. Arte is the one in charge and Arte has tanked being in charge I hope Eppler gets to have the control so we can see what he is capable of and that he can turn this franchise around.
  7. Whats the plan in place thats been well publicized please tell me ?
  8. So in that aspect he might not stick around anyway. We have been to the playoffs once in 6 years and if we don't make the playoffs next year that will add another. Making the playoffs even if we make it 2 out of the last 3 times in Trouts time here that would be 3 out of 10 years being here. You think he will stay?
  9. Who the hell said trade Trout in anything I just wrote.
  10. I guess we will see I don't know what young core your talking about. Trout? Calhoun isn't actually young, Richards is hurt, Heaney hurt, Shoemaker isn't young, Trop Hurt, Simmons is young tho so we got that going. They may have been bad before but the guys who are on the major league roster for both respective teams were signed from 2011 and on. Trout is great but it doesn't seem like the Angels are going all in on him either. If they were one of those LF'ers would have been signed to a contract instead of trying to make it work with floppy and flapjack in left field.
  11. He traded off every conceivable asset on the Major League Roster and built back up. Bullshit they were a good farm system most of his good farm system assets were not on the farm when he took over. So believe what you want.
  12. If there is a plan in place then I think people would understand. Right now it doesn't seem like there is any plan in place. They had money this offseason to sign a left fielder and decided to go the cheap route. Trade off a pitching asset for a SS and then pretty much went dumpster diving. I am not sure Eppler has full reigns to do what he wants or that he knows what he wants to do. I guess we will see what happens in the next couple years but in 2 more years if the Angels don't make the playoffs and Eppler will be gone and it will be someone other than him in control.
  13. When you have a plan in place like Theo did when he took over it was new. Similar to the new GM of the Houston Astros was hired in 2011 with a new plan to be good now. Looks like they are doing well and made the playoffs last year so I guess that would be two.
  14. Wasn't Theo signed to the Cubs before we signed Pujols? I thought he has been there 5 years maybe I'm wrong. I don't understand your comments though, where did I say Theo would have got us a new stadium or moved the Angels. When the Red Sox got rid of him and I was an owner of a team that is what I would have given him and seems likely thats what the Cubs did for him. Good for the Cubs. How is me saying something positive about Theo bashing anyone. Just looked it up Theo left Boston in October of 2011 and Angels signed Pujols December of 2011 so, your rambling about all the Pujols Hamilton Wilson mumbo jumbo is mute if they had Theo who knows what would have happened with all those contracts...So boom goes the dynamite.
  15. I would have given Theo a blank check and unlimited power and said the organization is yours to control would you like to sign a 10 or 15 year contract.
  16. What the Angels definitely don't need is to sign a 30-31 year old free agent outfielder to a long term deal. Has anyone paid attention to baseball free agents lately. Juice on your contract year and bail. Look at Fat Fielder body broke down as fast as possible once he signed. Before he signed he was the poster boy for starting 150 games a year
  17. resd what you wrote you said "mlb ready sp" but ya I'm the liar. Anywho if the Angels are set on trading people the more prospects you get back in return the better the chances one will turn into something valuable. Get as much back as possible if that's the case
  18. So you thinks a team is gonna trade a young cost controlled cheaper major league starting pitcher for an older more expensive starting pitcher? Because of what reasons?
  19. Number 1 prospect for Chapman yikes
  20. Now that you said that 8 innings 1 hit game for lil Timmay
